you don't have to stream, you get merch income when the day cycles. According to the FAQ popularity isn't capped at 10, though i've never bothered to raise mine past it...i usually do enough training to keep my streamers just above 9.

Hmmm I just leveled up and my popularity is too low to get Day9 or MKP to sponsor me so I'm forced to take Redtube. Really not a big fan of the -2 hours thing, is that super big?
Is there anything I can do with all this spare cash?

OMG YESSS DO NOT TAKE THAT THING... Your team won't improve at ALL and you'll lose any edge you had in level 0 extremely quickly. Get an "entertaining streamer" if you have to, or just go without a sponsor... It's that important
As far as spare cash, you can spend that in the Free Agent market, there's some VERY decent players in that thing, you won't be disappointed

I had that too, I grabbed 3 Streamers off the FA. Boosted me enough to get 7+ Avg. Pop (high enough % for Day9,) aswell as giving about $300 merch income. If you can pick up streamers cheap enough, and actually have good enough players to occasionaly win things.. do that.

You don't actually need to win things, unless your salaries are massive, you can just train the players up in the meantime.

You arent forced to do anything. You should have got some high popularity players and taken day 9. That being said, you can afford to buy a good free agent, or start saving up money for level 2 team house.

if you're actually winning and a semi-addict, redtube isn't terrible...i was fairly consistently winning the level 1 team tournament and i got from level 1 to level 2 and just barely over a day and since redtube offers 2x prize money, make about 4k in tournament winnings/sponsor bonus for the day. But if you're not winning...just don't get it, that 2 hours is brutal...really it's day9 or ntohing, even MKP has a -1

What's your in-game team name? I've been placing fairly highly for the last two days in the L1 Team league. Made about $1800 each day in winnings + $1800 in sponsor bonuses. HTF is mine.

This game is just stupid atm and needs alot of twaking to be good and fun to play... its too much random and the fact that when i enter a tourney with my best player i loose more ELO than i win even if i win the gotdamn thing becuse i loose when i win... (understandable to loose when you loose 1 game but you should loose elo in total...) and its just to random 1 tourney win and the next im out in r128 to a random player i should beat EASY....

That's how ELO works..
As for beating players you 'should' beat, if you're looking purely at the ELO difference that's not a good indicator. If it's clearly outclassed in everything, Macro/Micro/vX/Scouting/Creativity/Endurance.. then yeah it is annoying but that happens in RL StarCraft too.

Toast...but now i can only win one series at best in the L2 Team league :\ so my mmr won't raise any...and the individual tournaments never seem to bring great success depsite all buy one of my players being in plastic still...and i have 7 players with a average macro/micro > 6.9 and most of them with 4+ in each match up...but i wasn't focusing on endurance though i could keep riding the team league ;p

I know the feeling, it's been my goto game for the same amount of time. I just got pretty lucky with my starting players, who're now up at 2250, 2230, 2180 and two buys i got now at 2180 and 2100. I've got a couple of young prospects as well now with ridiculous dedication.. so yeah. I'm feeling good about it. That is until i get into L2 which will be about 3 games time. Then i'll get put back in my place.
