i searched and found a closed thread that i thought was closed unjustified. since the instruction was search the mlg stream thread. i did that to the best of my ability and was overwhelmed with random jitter about this and that related to the event.
it was also closed since the mod assumed the OP was requesting to pirate the music. i felt the OP was requesting a link or guidance to a site with the appropriate information he was seeking on it.
so if anyone has a MLG Pro-Circuit 2011 Raleigh audio soundtrack credits list or something similar that would be awesome.

+1 !!! MLG music is so awesome
I'm definitely interested in finding out some of the intermission music as well.
Really hope we can get a response.
I also really want to know the music played in breaks. Hopefully MLG can give us a tracklist or anything like that.
One of the guitar fills sounds a whole lot like thunder horse from dethklok. I know i'm not the only one that thinks that.
It is pretty shocking to me that there are people out there that do not feel compelled to throw up when listening to MLG's music between games...let alone actually want to find it for personal use.

Not that there is need for justification or one should validate posts like this one, but the association with the epic experience that is a MLG event alone is enough to want to know these tracks.

maybe, but most of the music played is just 30 second loops in case you haven't noticed, so i wouldn't even call them tracks. I doubt the loops even have names, perhaps "MLGguitarloop3."

I guess...Personally I don't understand the desire re-experience long breaks during MLG's...but to each his own.
I hope MLG uploads a music list like GSL did
I emailed MLG yesterday - no response.
I was asking myself the same thing for a few events already. Some of the soundtracks are really good but as they have no lyrics they are hard to find.

I heard one riff that sounded like "Home" by Dream Theater, albeit a bit stripped down >_>
I'm also interested in this.
Anyone have any idea what the song was during the player interviews which played during the breaks sometimes.(White-ra gave his famous GG speech during the interviews if that helps)
one of the riffs was really catchy but unfortunately that's the only way I can describe it lol
Well it's good that most of it is rock music. Probably gotta thank Sundance for that 2. Horrible pop music at Gamescom hurt my ears for 5 days. The tracks would be nice to have.
the rifts remind me of a lot of melodeath songs O_o
that one guitar song that gets quiet and sounds like a switch going back and forth between two chords is really good, wish I knew the name. Also, you don't know shit about starcraft if you don't have a music playlist from star leagues and etc you nostalgia to every once in a while.
I found the song at 6 hours 40 minutes on the blue stream. You can use audacity to record any songs you liked if you can find them in the replay.
I don't know why people thought it was bad. I really liked this MLG's music. It was definitely music I could ladder to.
pretty sure the music was from dynasty warriors
Holy shit nostalgia train. I wonder if I could emulate..brb
Also someone figure out the MLG music!! ><

I'd try emailing them again in a few days. Maybe MLG staff will be more willing to respond when they're not in the middle of a tournament? Who knows, they might reply.
This is pretty much correct. They use "stock" music which is similar to stock photos, difficult to find the artist (most of the time they aren't listed at all).
http://www.stockmusic.net/index.cfm I don't think it's easy to find this stuff for free : /
There have been a lot of threads like this one at every MLG and this is the only answer I was able to find. As it would be pretty impossible to find the tracks without further information I really really hope we can get a tracklist. I mean they have to have one, let's hope they don't just copypaste and then forget, lol.
If you happen to get an answer plz report back here.

Nice job, dl'ed them
Holy god damn, epic first post snt. I think the OP needs to be updated now.
yeah, i just saw that many ppl from here wanted the same thing as me, so when i founded the music i created a acc to help ya. :p
I didn't like the songs at this MLG, Anaheims weren't as bad IMO.
The first link doesn't work anymore, is there another source for it?
EDIT: NVM, the first link does work for me.
holy moly. awesome work, snt! thank you! :D

You can search for royalty free music on google and get loads more of tracks then just what MLG used. Some are not truly free but there is thousands of 'starving artists' out there that might be ok at creating music but for reason a b c or w/e don't ever get picked up by a label and or don't intended to be so there music is free to use.

Awesome! Thank you snt!

Hm... Anybody already got the tracks and is willing to share? Or is it enough if you just say "Yeah I heard them at MLG and want them."?^^
Now all we need is the tracks from past MLGs.

Well, I kind of have to agree. I am very surprised people are interested in that music for personal use. I can understand a lot of strange tastes (like emo kind of music, or compulsive listening to nyan cat or caramelldansen, or television show themes and such), but the MLG music was repetitive, anonymous guitar riffs. It was like the rock version of the most bland kind of elevator tune. It's like something you'd accept only if you dreaded silence and this was the only "music" available. Sure, I understand everyone didn't like the Gamescom tracks, but at least it was actual songs.
Is this a troll thread? The MLG "music" was just 30 sec loops of power chords...

i think its something to do with how we all unanimously sat down watching 'More Starcraft coming up' screen whilst listening to these generic songs

I thought the music was some FPS game's soundtrack. It was pretty neat.

There was good music actually playing at the venue itself
Muse, Jimmy Eat World and the like.
Anyone know if this music was royalty free or if they licensed it out for MLG?
In this thread: No one that plays guitar.
Lol. This must be a troll thread..
Wow, I actually (no offence) thought it was really shitty and boring .. I seriously hoped it was one of the things they would consider changing.
--- I'm talking about the music in between action on the streams.
Honestly I thought the music at previous MLGs was ten times better than Raleigh. But I'm not sure that's saying much.
At Raleigh, one of the tracks in particular had a part at the end that was the exact replica of a song Day[9] described on a daily as:
+ Show Spoiler +" ...I thought I just downloaded an album of a cat shitting wasps out of a sewn up asshole.".
I had to take off my headset a few times to prevent my eardrums from bursting. Almost sounded like a square wave.
Anyone know what music they used for previous MLGs? This one in particular I think is one everyone knows from the previous intermission tracks. I managed to capture all of the tracks from the stream, but the quality is subpar as a result.

EDIT: Nevermind. I see the problem. Didn't realize there was a private URL. Here we go.

Thanks a lot you guys; downloaded the rar just now - everythings perfect :D
haters plz fuck off kthx

You are awesome! So is Thomas Dill and Takeshi Furukawa, keep on making great music. Knock Down is my favorite from that list.
Wow, awesome!
I have a question though about an intermission track from the previous MLG's. There is a guitar track that has a very similar melody to the one in "Lifelines" (by Thomas Dill) at MLG Raleigh. The melody starts at around 0:48 of "Lifelines". The track has played in all the other MLG's so I'm sure a lot of people will recognize what I'm talking about. "Lifelines" sounds almost like version 2 of this song, but I cannot find it anywhere. Maybe one of you query pros can help me. :D
Well done! Ty!
You are fantastic
Too bad there was this "new" one from the MLG Global Invitational - Korea tonight that was intriguing to me. It probably is from this site somewhere though, judging from the fact that everything else is.
So, I'm actually high and in reading this thread I'm not certain or not as to whether this is the most elaborate troll thread in the history of the internet... (?)

This music rocks!
Anyone knows the name of this electronic song with awesome beat that appears when you tune in into the stream?
