you're forgetting adelscott (very innovative and solid), Moman and stephano, who is imo probably frances best player right now

I'm pretty sure that China's going to do very well at WCG.

I would love if someone organizes such a team event with the best players per nation. Granted, it won't be as competitive as the individual cups, because of lack of such high individual incentive, but would be fun.
there was already a nationwar with germany, russia, poland and the ukraine which germany won. but the "problem" in germany might be the thing that so many players dont play fulltime.they have either a job or going to college. koll is not interessted, mondi doesnt spend much time in sc2 as well and the rest....actually the same. to compare a whole country we should compare the top 10 or even top 15 from each country because a top 3 doesnt represent a country imo so the best is sweden and then germany.

SarenS is French also, isn't he?

its the only example i can think of, tbh only 3 noteable foreigners, kas, tarson and beastyqt, and they did really well. no swedish players. nice to see you're happy, but dont fly to high;-)

If Germany does well, I'm sure won't be for his games...
wanna get a list of players goody defeated in the last month? strelok,white-ra,hasuobs,darkforce,mana,dimaga,beastyqt.etc. and he has won a bunch of onlinecups in the last 2,3 weeks as well. goody is extremely underrated because hes a "funny"character because of his playstyle unfortunately furthermore hes top 10 GM right now.

I won't lie though, Poland is looking strong, with Mana, Tarson, and Nerchio Of course Sweden is the strongest foreign country, with the TSL3 finalists, naniwa and thorzain North America is a country now? What did I miss? Dude, Canadians and Americans are pretty much the same except for Quebec. wow and that coming from an us citizen^^, guess my imagination of canadian<-> us hate only resulted from the constant Huk is canadian american; only canadian bla bla duscission?
Honestly, I would like to think most Canadian vs US hate is in jest. Likely stemming from the fact that citizens of both countries are exceptionally similar (with the exception of quebec as noted). I honestly feel that there is no nationality as similar to a US citizen as a Canadian and vice versa. Hope that doesn't offend anyone.

Just joking Don´t take it serious. Just found it somehow interesting for the discusion going on here all the time.
I am making the prize money overviews every month for fragster so i know which countries are the stronges most times.
I would say it´s overall like this (ONLY PRIZE MONEY):
1. South Korea 2. Sweden 3. Germany 4. France
The things splited in months:

1. South Korea 2. Sweden
after it is tight ...
France : Stephano, Adelscott, ToD, SarenS, MoMaN, AureS, (cArn) Poland : MaNa, Tarson, Nerchio, DieStar Germany : HasuObs, Socke, Goody, TLO, Darkforce Ukraine : Strelock, DIMAGA, WhiteRa, Kas, Bly, HappyZerg
the problem for the germany it's that she haven't players like MaNa, DIMAGA or Stephano. for me :
- 3 : Ukraine - 4 : France - 5 : Germany = Poland
maybe the Canada before these countries but it is difficult to assess their level.

I don´t see any country from america before the euorpean powerhouse (Sweden/Ukraine/Poalnd/France/Germany)...
I am not really sure if Ukraine and/or France are in front of Germany, but with players like White-Ra/Strelok an Stephano/Adelscott/ToD it could be.

Well, apart from the powerhouse swedes in Korea, I'd say the rest of europe is about the same level. Just take a look at the tournament roundup threads, there are months where Germany has posted better results, then there are months were France posted better results, and the same goes to Poland and Ukraine. But there is no nation who is dominating each and every one of those tournament roundups. So I think Goody is right to call Germany one of the strongest countries.

I can not find what are the players in Germany are higher than the French players Stephano is over but the rest is the same level.

lol Stephano lost 2-1 against the winner and 2-1 against the third in this tournament and he beat 2-0 Sase, the groupe socke is much easier, Socke vs Puma? 3-0.
