Simply put you have to worry about debris (proper projectiles can do damage at lower wind speeds) Secondly, you have to worry about tornadoes (yes, hurricanes can cause tornadoes, dealing damage to limited areas) So, think of it was 1/1000 or 1/10000 buildings getting trashed...which is fine as long as you aren't that 1 | ||

Every single MLG, something insanely crazy that is completely out of MLG's control will come through and destroy the viewer experience. Well not this time, damn it. pack some food (that doesn't require preparation, like granola bars or something) and water in your car Fill your gas tank before the storm comes! If the storm knocks out utils and closes gas stations (even basic flooding can cause this) you don't want to be stranded! It's simple stuff, and even if the storm doesn't really affect Raleigh, I guarantee you won't mind having some bottles of water and snacks on you during MLG! | ||

Agreed, but then again, if MLG has to recycle the Raleigh Convention Center, they'll only get 75% of their resources back, so it's a huge risk. | ||
