This is actually really good. I was pretty apprehensive about a Drops of Jupiter parody, but your voice is more than good enough to pull it off. Nice work.

That's definitely just an effect. There's an echo vocal and the volume spikes over that section. I don't like it, but it's not skipping or anything.

That's a good point! I guess I thought it was a good idea at the time, it is only a partial rhyme compared to "race" which is a full rhyme. If I ever have to re-record this for some reason I'll definitely use that, thank you!

Thank you very much!! I really appreciate it. And yes, that is a vocal effect, though I do kind of rush the lyric at that part too, so that might also be it. I think the area I need the most improvement in is volume mixing. I find it very difficult to go from Fruity Loops to an MP3 and make it all consistent. I'll try to do better next time!
LOL OH GOD SO MUCH WIN. Normally I have a dislike for SC2 songs. Mostly because it's the same sound rap song that has been played out since WoW. Oh god this is different. I don't care that its a cover.

That's a good point! I guess I thought it was a good idea at the time, it is only a partial rhyme compared to "race" which is a full rhyme. If I ever have to re-record this for some reason I'll definitely use that, thank you!
I think a lot of the lyrics are somewhat awkward as well, I'd re-write what I could. I didn't bother listening to the original, so I'm just taking it as it's own song.
Dude, very accurately represented parody.. great lyrics and the instrumentation comes really close to replicating the original. Considering the original was recorded on a major label budget, in a major label studio and you're working with FL, my hat goes off to you sir. Do you master/use any of the FL mastering plugins? FL limiter is a really solid master limiter/compressor that can discreetly boost your signal, without coloring the sound too much. I'm pretty sure its stock, depending on which version you run Again, killer parody!

I am indeed running FL studio and I do, in fact, have FL Limiter! Though I must admit, I do not fully know how to use it. I plan on reading up on some tutorials and YouTube videos so I can make the next song even better! Thank you so much for your kind words and advice!

Amazing Work! and i agree you need a thread with all of your parodies listed as yours are always pretty amazing. And so much better than other people who i wont name who try to make good SC2 parody songs..

If your songs were on itunes id totally DL them just for smiles ont he way to class or something
Love it, now it would actually be better (as far as the video goes) if you would have made a super simple video with lyrics floating around (and minor loudness issues but hey, who cares :D)
Sometimes the vocals go up and down(as pointed out) also some of the lines seem a little "choppy" like not 100% smooth. But overall REALLY well done !! Can't wait for more songs dude :D
