I'm gonna go with...probably. They said the HuK deal has been in discussion for weeks, but they always knew they had the money.

EG's policy to acquire already accomplished players doesn't go very well so far... It seems just throwing money at it, doesn't auto-bring more money. That said, hope Greg and Chris to do well. But my advice to EG is to focus more on building their own players, than on buying accomplished players. The direction towards practice houses is good, and wish them that it creates new stars.

Are you seriously threatening physical violence towards someone for injecting money into ESPORTS? As for the rest, it's a nice announcement. US house + KR house, real nice.
Just look up Alex's history. He doesn't give two shits about building e-sports or fostering a community around respected players, it is only about $$ to him. No doubt it is great for Huk that he is getting more money, but I can't condone the type of underhanded business tactics that Alex has employed, and continues to employ, to get his way.

Buying out the competition huh?
Money talks.

I won't see EG.HuK the same way as Liquid`Huk, but I wish Huk the best of the world.

I dislike the move from TL. But thats prolly just me, or all you ppl are just suckers.

Idra back in Korea is SWEET.

EG has turned out to be the 2005 KT of SC2.

Such a disappointing move . HuK...

Sad news... but that hype was worth it. I was crying for 15 minutes but now i'm ok with it after watching those silly hype/rivarly videos for HuK and IdrA. Real funny shit lmao.

EG is going to have to make a better team quickly to compete at a decent level in Korea(HuK, Puma, Demuslim and maybe IdrA should be good, but still a small roster). Good luck with whatever you have to do. Hopefully it isn't too sinister on how you aquire players.

They have enough money to focus on both. They have a house in Korea and NA.

I hope I never have to meet you in real life Alex, your face would probably meet my fist.
And I wonder what other members of EG think of this? You build a training facility, the first of its kind in NA, and you suddenly have all your best members go back to Korea instead of train there? I guess for EG the task of building an AMERICAN team that can compete with the Koreans was one too daunting.
?
Good god, it's like, we live in a capitalistic society, who'd have thought?
Really though, I support HuK in this, it makes sense for him to do this. The world is about money first then the rest, after all.

Yeeeaaaaaaaaah roy GO GO GO EG!!

Craazy stuff for EG
GL HUK

Bah. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have an irrational fanboy side of me. I truly mean no hate towards EG when I say that this just makes me really effing angry. GL to Huk and GL in Korea but I just can't bring myself to cheer for you guys lately. Hopefully I get over it sometime. Unfortunately it feels like you guys gave up on your home grown players though. Again GLGLGL.

I really hope TL will respond with recruiting Stephano and/or Sase
