PuMa still practices with TSL members. Huk will still practice with oGs members
People, this isn't a soap opera.

it'll be interesting to see how incontrol and idra improve from huk's addition to the team. overall, i think it makes eg a much better team, not just with huk, but with the improvement that will be shown by other members by practicing with him and his agressive style.

Because he saw two MC's, one of which was hallucinated.

Where is huk going to live between now and october? He still has code S to finish!

Best of luck to Huk, EG, and Liquid! I know many people are sad about this change but Huk made his own decision according to what he knows is best for himself, so I fully support it!
Also, hoping IdrA can break back into Code S in style without too much BM.... :/

u should probably link source

oh well, atleast it was more than a single transfer of HuK. Goodluck to all parts involved and nice that we got another foreign team back in South Korea!:D

Pretty sure it has to do with them owing him prize money from a past event.

Wait what, Idra back to korea :-O :-O. And good luck Huk & Team Liquid, much love from a Belgian Fan!

I was hearing about this the other day, and I was complaining because I loved that TL was growing, and that HuK and Ret were performing so well.... I always enjoyed watching IdrA and HuK as some of my favorite pros, though I have a hard time adjusting to the idea that HuK is a part of EG.
I will remain a fan of HuK, but I am skeptical at the team dynamic. I guess it's all bout the money...
I don't think HuK's skills will deteriorate since I think he's one to practice just by playing a lot of games with a lot of people, he has a great work ethic in SC2 I think. I hope that having HuK and IdrA together will allow IdrA to change his attitude a bit,. I think HuK will be a great influence, especially since he's the one who made IdrA 'gg' at hallucinations after all! :D
Good luck to both Liquid and EG, and hopefully we can see Tyler step up as the new Liquid (foreigner) Protoss Otherwise, I want to see Liquid'Hero dominating too!
<3 HuK
Edit: Maybe IdrA can now try to understand Protoss rather than just complain about it. >=)

HuK had all of TL/oGs to practice, now he's down to PuMa (who might've been Flash's practice partner but isn't seasoned yet) and IdrA (who said he feels out of touch with the korean level of play), plus the rest of EG (which is, tbh, not that amazing, aside from Demuslim when he feels like actually playing). might've been a good money move for him (and I respect his decision) but the collateral damage from losing fans and potentially losing skill might hurt him in the long run. or everything could be just great and he's going to win 4 GSLs in a row. who the hell knows? And yet, somehow, magically, Huk still made the decision to go to EG and train with Idra and Puma. I for one trust Huk when it comes to establishing practice regiments and scheduling, and its obvious that he wanted a change, monetary compensation aside. Huk has given the public no reason to doubt his mentality or decision-making before, I say we let his decision speak itself and wait for results, and then we can roll out the hyper-critical, totally egoistic opinions.

Mind successfully blown. gl to huk in his career with EG!

AFAIK IdrA and Huk are friends, its just a professional rivalry. IdrA knows how to hype himself and build a brand and excitement about any match he goes into. I think alot of it is for show. I see them talking and hanging out at DH and JP, Day9, IdrA and Huk hanging out at Blizz NA tournament last weekend. So i think they will be most likely be just fine training and living together. And throw the super talent Puma in there you got a stellar trio of talent training together. Id say they need some more practice partners ofc most obviously for mirror matches and maybe different styles of play so it would be cool having a few more people staying with them. Really looking forward to this development and i hope EG is not over stretching a bit but they probably have the biggest budget and seems to do serious business.

Pretty sure this is a loss for HuK... I think it was a bad move.
|
Giving the "hype" around this announcement, i personally expected more than a player transfer & Idra going back to korea.
I'm personally a big football fan. From the beginning i dont like clubs, which are only buying the good players from other teams who trained them, developed their playstyle and supported them from the beginning. But money rules the world. But if those clubs lose to some lower league team or not getting their titles as they like, I'm a little spiteful Even if there are players I like a lot (like Özil or Khedira) I will not cheer for their teams.

gl HuK, it was the right move. EG, great job bringing E-SPORT business on another level. TL, you still have two players in the Blizzcon Tournament and will still doing fine.
|
Come on this is rediculous HuK going too EG after idra called him a retard? have you no morals?. And Idra going Korea don't make me laugh he will be back when he rages cos he couldn't even make code A.
|
I'm most surprised that Idra is willing to go back to Korea after so vocally opposing it in the past. I guess he's been humbled by the string of losses to other players to rethink about his level of play. Good for him!
|
You guys do realize that Koreans don't exclusively practice with their teammates right? Many of them play a ton of ladder, and many of them have dedicated practice partners from other teams. Huk's oGs practice partners aren't going to boycott him and leave him out to dry, especially since he is looking like one of the strongest tosses in Korea atm.
|
Im sad to see huk go but im glad we are getting more foreigners out to korea. Foreigners hwaiting!
