Ok, it seems like they were expelled from SC2con not SC2PA which are seperate entities. I have very little knoweldge in how the korean scene is structured, so I got them confused. If a mod can change the title, I would be grateful. I'll alter the main text myself.

btw, what does SC2con stand for? conference? committee? council? I can't seem to find any info on that.

2. Though sponsors continued to provide funds for the team, it is wrong that the manager lied to the players, saying they hadn't.

3. Even though the wages of the TSL players who returned theirs to help with operating expenses were different to Fruitdear and Trickster's sum, the manager used it in an interview to slander the two players. This is not a quality a team manager should possess.

Now that I read this again. Am I the only one that feels this is contradictory? Manager lied to the players that they he didnt get money from sponsors. Then how did Sangho + Clide return the money to TSL ?

Hahaha, Fruidealer and Tester getting disciplined? It really says a lot about how lazy those two could be. Frankly, i don't see how somebody could defend two freeloaders. Go TSL!

Just search for association and you'll come upon the paragraph, it only really talks about boxer being involved in it though, and not why slayers as a whole is not participating.

I've read that and it's more an article about why BoxeR chose not to be chairman of the organisation.

I'm still curious about why one of the major teams in Korea, SlayerS, decide not to join the association.

It is kind of weird when two major teams are not part of the player association :/.

I would assume that joining the sc2pa is done by the players, not by the manager. The sc2pa looks a lot like a union to me (and i'm not opposed to that as long as the power doesn't get abused), so if the players don't think about joining the PA, no reason for the team to be listed in it.

I would assume that if a SlayerS member would like the team to be in the sc2pa, SlayerS would join. If the players are happy anyways, why join?

I honestly imagine that if Coach Lee was really embezzling, then all the players would have left instantly instead of still staying with the team, especially in the case of Killer and Clide.

Also I wonder what Startale is doing with FD and Tester. They honestly have enough talents (and better players imo) already.

Well, SangHo and Clide liked Coach Lee and TSL enough to give their money back to him.

The cases of FD/Tester/Puma were a bit strange to me tbh.

FD/Tester - Already left 1 team, admit to not playing much
Puma - First SC2 success ever at big foreign event -- wants more

Or, they were forced to give him the money back.Probably wasn't much anyway, since he lied to them that they weren't getting money from sponsors.

FD, Tester and Puma leaving is just additional proof that TSL management is rotten to the core, ha!

And now y'all getting juked by another sob story.

Timings could be off. The refund part could've taken place before coach lee apparently deceived them.

More importantly, what's the point of joining an organization that has absolutely no power at all in terms of tournaments, league and player trading control???

Loyal players can't exist in professional gaming?

Do you seriously think that little of SangHo, Clide and possibly other players?

They do have power. They banned Rain from participating in the GSL for two seasons. They're just a lot more lenient and have a players association section for players to have a voice.

Fruitdealer and Trickster have been under performing for the past 7 months, so its not surprising there has been a lot of friction, although I think what the coach did by withholding their salary is wrong.

TSL probably needs a new manager if they are to continue forward. Having said that I couldn't care less about FD and Trickster because they've been performing extremely poorly the past 7 months and are not code A or S material.

The OP said that they could have been forbidden to play in tournaments but they chose not to do that so the competition does not get crippled.
Or at least that is my understanding of that.

If the said reparations are not paid in full, SC2PA will expel TSL and take further measures.

Your title says TSL expelled from SC2 Playes Association, this sentance says they are currently not so why try to shock me and then to see that this was false they will take actions but havent actually expelled them.
