There's a fair chance there would be enough dropouts above 22nd for him to qualify for a pool seeding if Complexity want to bring him over. Of course, I'd rather he were focussed on winning the Code A final on the following Monday! I would hope that 1 or 2 of the remaining invites would go to some Code B ladder monster rather than an established Code S or even A player. We'll see who's left after the Code A prelims. Not long to wait! | ||

Looking forward to see who the other two invites end up being, and hoping SlayerS sends MMA out, since he's got the second seed in MLG right now. | ||

And why O why 2 more terran players. Nearly all the broadcasted games from Anaheim was with korean terrans. I have gotten my share of blueflame hellion battles for this year. So many cool matchups we missed just to show EVERY damn korean game (well not all of them, but close). QXC played extremely well (seems like the all kill was justified), but he got knocked out by Demuslim (I used to looove his play, so I would have liked to see how he beat qxc). But inviting Bomber and MVP is a bad idea unless they invite the same caliber toss and zerg. You need MC and Nestea to get up to MVP's level (when he is playing his best). So it feels kinda stupid if they continue with inviting several top terrans and 1-2 code-B from other races. You guarantee top 4-5 terran... which is super boring imo. Best would be to invite all promising code B like DongRaeGu. Not GSL champs. | ||

but obviously they're going to ask nestea, almost everyone that watches mlg wants him (it'd be dumb not to even just ask him) so i'm sure it'll be up to him | ||

The reason there's so many Terrans invited is because a disproportionately large number of top Koreans are Terrans, probably as high as 75%. Even as a massive Koreans fanboy who prefers watching Koreans to foreigners every time I do agree it's a bit of a shame that there are no LAN's for just foreigners to compete at (online tournaments aren't the same excitement) but MLG is infinitely better since Koreans started coming. Also the willing foreigners are doing much better out of the exchange than Koreans. Guys like Thorzain, Naniwa, Fenix and Sheth all got Code A spots from it (chances are none of them would have made it through the Code B sharkpool) and from this MLG we'll get a futher four, potentially Sjow, Socke, Moonan, Select and others, all of whom would struggle to qualify for Code A normally. | ||

This is an interesting format. First bring MMA. Then bring MVP who can beat MMA. Then bring Bomber who can beat MVP. Then bring... well, the list gets sparse. Nestea! | ||
