To win:

- Anyone from the "new" generation of north-american talent (DDE, Vibe, Major). North-America desperately needs new talent to replace the washed-up ex pro-amateurs from 6 years ago BW. This guys are fresh and talented, and need experience in the big stage.

- HuK: he's a model for all foreign SC2 players

- MMA: i like him, he's sexy and hot.

To fail:

- Machine
- Moonan
- Incontrol

Same reason for all three for them. They may be nice players in the north-american scene, but on a world stage, they are just weak progamers, with average mechanics and mediocre game sense. They have been protected by the conservative bracket system of the MLG tour. Not anymore, jut drop off and leave the place to better players.

I'm hoping to see Boxer, DRG and qxc do well. Only player I'm really hoping to fail is Destiny because I feel all he has been doing is riding the waves of his very gimmicky, abusive style and probably won't do well after people have found an answer to it.

To do well :
1. Idra- awesome
2. Destiny- under rated
3. Sheth- incredibly nice person

Fail:
1. Huk - over rated
2. Spanishiwa- over rated simply because of "his" build
3. All Koreans- i'd like to see the top three places not going to all koreans
imba, imba world

so so true. I remember listening to SotG a while back when incontrol was still on it and he was complaining about the koreans basically getting put into favorable positions... exactly the same thing has happened with him / tyler etc etc.

wow wtf so much Major hate. the playa is super talented. he is going to destroy!

People hate him because of his atittudes, not because of his play.(me included)

I hope to do well:

FXO as a whole,
Huk
Strelok

I like they mindset towards the game.

To do well:

Idra - I would like to see him more confident and relaxed

Huk - He will do well, he's just too good at the moment

Haypro - From a long long time i'm actually looking for haypro to do something, but he's always one step behind imo, even at dreamhack he was actually playing pretty well, but still falls apart at the end.

To FAIL

DRG - this guy seems to be S-class korean zerg, pwning in GTSL looking really storng, that's why i want him to fail badly

and that's it :D don't wanna see other players fail just that one.

To win: every one of liquid! and sheth

I especially hope liquid'Tyler and liquid'TLO do well. Tyler because that would mean he's taking gaming seriously again and will try to become the best, TLO because of his injury.

I root for all these players because they all are extremely well mannered, are clever in real life (esp. tyler) and come up with creative plays and/or have styles i like.

I will also be excited to see MC play, probably the only korean i will be cheering for.

to fail: noone ofcourse, i hope for good games.

To win: boxer or some other underdog (fxo and col players, destiny). Failing that I'd like to see MMA or HUK take it, sc2 needs some consistency.

To fail:
Idra - I dislike his fanboys and his arrogance

To Succeed:
Demuslim - he's been training really hard, and his only weak matchup, TvZ, is looking pretty strong, giving Sen decent games in the Verizon lan. The open bracket is stacked, but as long as he doesn't hit any super strong zergs early on, I feel his TvP and TvT are really sick (he almost made an amazing comeback against MC at HSC3, and has beaten plenty of top Euro T's in TvT) If he plays his best he should get into pool play, and depending on the group he gets could do really well.

Destiny - It took me a long time to get used to Destiny's stream, but even as a terran player, his stream is usually the one I go to. His play has improved brilliantly, beating Bomber and Ace, as well as having some epic games with Huk. Listening to him on the recent daily showed how he's matured I think, and has an excellent analytical mind and strong all-game tactics. Unless he gets cheesed out I think he can go very far in the Open Bracket.

Select - Just a beast, some epic games in the SCI 2 yesterday against morrow. Had a massive slump last MLG but he's been practicing loads and I think he can do really well again, and challenge the koreans.

I dont want people to fail. All the people saying they want EG to fail etc. due to the Puma situation are fucking retarded, and hateful. None of the players were involved in any of that, if you want to hate, direct it at AG or Scoots, don't wish players to do badly due to a situation out of their hands.

To Succeed:
-The EG guys. Yeah there management seems a little shady and they are a bit too concerned with sponsors, but they are one of the first teams to actually go ahead and try to make a proper team house, and the seem like really nice guys. Idra, iNcontrol, Machine, Demuslim, Axlav, Strifecro and LZ are all deserving of success, for different reasons. I want Anaheim to be a good tournament for them.
-Foreigners. It'd be great if no Koreans even got on the Podium. I know players have been trying super hard recently, I think it would be awesome if it payed off.
-All the cuddly manner bears. Sheth, Whitera etc.

To Fail:
-Koreans. See above.
Specifically:
-DRG. I love this guy's play, and I think he is really a great player. But not as good as people are saying he is. Not in the same league as Losira or Nestea or someone like that. Unfortunately, I think he will do extremely well at MLG, because the format is so favourable to him. Lots of games, all in a row, against opponents who have no preparation. Shame for me.
-Anyone who doesn't deserve to be in the Championship pool. Lets hope they get out early and permanently.
EDIT:
Oh shit, and GOGOGOGOGO TYLER!!!!!
VERY FRAGILE, LIKE A BABY PANDA EGG
