Wheat is coming off as the biggest tool. He is clearly being biased on the whole situation. Cutting off milkis the way he is and letting AG go on his endless rants.. The constant facial expressions hes making that he basically is disagreeing with milkis... This is sad..

I loved EG all the way back in the days where Lin/stevenson/black panther were on their CS 1.6 teams but now they have lost all my respect. This is gross.

Wheat, Thanks for interrupting valid points made against Alex by Milkis, fighting in the interests of e-sports for another day!

tbh Milkis on this point you are pretty much wrong.

If you post something inflamatory according to your opinion, you need to give both parties a chance to comment. You say why should we contact EG, we are volunteers etc. etc.

Well actually thats a part of western culture you seem to be ignoring fairly comfortably. It's considered very very rude for any newspaper to simply post one side of a story without giving the other side a chance to comment (even if that answer is often only a "no comment at this time"). And yes that is also an unwritten law for volunteers.

Maybe you should consider THAT next time you stress that "we" need to pay attention to Korean culture. Maybe we do, and maybe we don't, but if we need to, than certainly so do you.

If you translate a post to some extent it becomes yours, unless you clearly state that you have no opinion you just translated it.

Closing note: If the Korean teams want to keep their players the answer is quite simple. Make them happy and pay them well. If they don't they WILL be poached as soon as they are not protected by contracts and no amount of crying that that isn't fair will protect them from it.

This is gone really far and to some extent is attaking TL as a whole because of the way content is posted etc. Who is EG to discuss this?

Wow, so bm coming from a representative of such a big company.

Considering the number of witch hunts that have happened lately which have been defused when the other side has come out, it might not be such a bad thing to hold OP's to actual standards.

Really bad poll. You should define career. Moneywise? Skillwise?

It's a short-sighted decision as I said on page 2x-3x or whatever.

Take the money and run.

From the sound of it, they would like him to move in the EG house. If Puma does this I see very little progression in his skill level.

I'm siding with AG on the Puma issue. I'm siding with Milkis on the TL/Journalism issue.

This.

It's a shame that the majority of TL thinks with the availability heuristic than level heads.

Poor milkis =( we still love you!!!

What is done is done but if the Koreans are offended....not just TSL and Mr. Lee, there will be hell to pay. Kespa 2.0, restrictions on letting their players go to foreign events, maybe even more extreme measures like limiting practice/partnerships with foreign teams.

EG got puma and they won the battle, if the Koreans perceive this as war, they can stomp on all over the foreign scene. One way I can think of is to sign their players to restrictive contracts and then send the top players to all the foreign events and "take all our money." To a certain extent they are still winning all our money but they are here as our heroes and idols. They start coming over with comments like "crush the foreigners" and "Startale sending their whole team to MLG to put the foreigners in their place" things could get interesting/amazing fast.

I like how wheat cuts off milkis at every corner and then says "okay, lets drop it", but then each time AG goes on 5 minute monologues right after.

Fuck off.

AG is dumping a bunch of bullshit on him. This is not on Milkis. EG needs to take care of its own PR problems. Don't blame the community. Don't blame a valued member of our community.

Nothing is bullshit about what he's saying. Milkis has brought up multple sources to confirm the transfer and none of them were EG.

It's EG's job to post a Press Statement for f sake.

/facepalm

It's EG's job to post a press statement about them maybe picking up a player?

It is. If you follow news from other teams, they often post a press statement about acquiring a player. EG recently picked up floe, Choco Blanka, and Momochi and they even put out a statement, but for some reason they didn't for Puma.

Because they haven't even signed him yet. Still, it doesn't really give them an excuse to get up in milkis' grill for not seeking a statement from eg.

Final thought - Puma is a Adult and he made his own decision, who cares?

No contract = free game.

Its a shame that people who pay for people to enjoy there passion as a job and do things they will most likely not be able to do on there own get shit on.

This is the first time I have ever listened to DJ Wheat (and likely last) but dude, terrible moderation.

/facepalm.

Milkis tweeted Scoot's personal twitter asking for a response. He didn't tweet the TSL Coach's personal twitter did he? There's other ways to contact people than through public personal twitter accounts. Milkis made no attempt to contact anyone in private.

Translator's are supposed to translate.

What does AG expect milkis to do?

His point was that Milkis posted a one sided news article that kicked off a huge unnecessary shitstorm, and just like EG needs to be held accountable for their actions, Milkis needs to be held accountable for not getting both sides of the story to present a fair article. He started asking for EG's side well after this whole controversy started up.

No kidding its a one sided news article. Only Coach Lee made a comment. EG is still yet to release an official statement
