Disgusting yes but I don't believe it's defamation.
This doesn't really make sense. Just because something is done for laughs doesn't mean it's not defamation. Making Eve appear as a porn star is changing what her actual character is. That's defamation. Same way as saying someone is a racist just for a laugh.

Don't ask me that. I absolutely hate people who hide behind laws that I view as wrong and unjust, this law would be an example of that because I believe in free speech. Sure they may just be trolling but it should be their right to say what they want even if what they say is stupid. Even if you're against a law, the law still exists and you must follow it.

A lot of Nazis probably thought the same way you do, I wonder how that worked out for them.
If a law is wrong then you must fight against that law to have it changed.

That may be true, depending on the image, yes.

If she's really that tired of all the abuse (as one could be) then the actions she took originally should be justified, regardless of how 'tough' we might think she should or could have been. The reaction to the criticisms, however, was a bad bad mistake in her part. Now she's gonna get slapped down pretty hard for being rude herself.

People need to realise the psychological damages done to that poor girl Eve. She's young and reads all the hate post against her and now against her team. What a shame if that could ever happen on our beloved internet. I think it's pretty disgusting, people shouldn't have some kind of right to not be offended. Being offended is a choice, as is ignoring it and moving on with what actually matters. Funny that I read posts like these all the time when topics like this come up but the people trolling don't have to move on and accept how it is. Always the other way around. Why couldn't the trolls just move on accept SlayerS decision? Because they aren't actually ruining anyone else's life, and even if they somehow did you couldn't possibly place even the majority of the blame on them. This is rather different to taking what is essentially friendly conversation, parsing it for offensive comments, and prosecuting everything that fits. Its not a good thing when people are afraid to say what they think because some random idiot might be offended and prosecute.
Oh so harassment should go unpunished because you feel like you're some big man and everyone else should just deal with it? It's a perfectly fine response to contact the police. It's your legal right in korea to report this since they have rules against this bullshit. Keep concocting more stupid scenarios where this could cause an issue for you all you want. It's all in your head dude. All you gotta do is manner up a bit more then it's non issue. Last I checked they never made a thread asking your, mine or anyone else's "opinion" about anything.

Because whenever something is thrown on the internet like that, it can often come back and bite your (or in this case, her) ass. Wouldn't it be better to fix this now, than in the future if she becomes good and gets more fame?

The fact that you think something is harassment does not constitute proof that its harassment. Plenty of people have claimed harassment as a response to vaguely derogatory jokes, and those claims were rightfully laughed at.

Why would we have a forum board for people to post their opinions in a thread that is about people discussing their opinions. I mean what else is this thread for?

Fake Eve porn pictures aside, this is probably a huge overreacting from Jessicas because she feels that she has to defend her choice of Eve to become a part of Slayers. Eve may be a sweet girl and everything, but the fact is that she has taken a place another player might have been more worthy of and when people start to attack that choice and question the decision making of Jessica, then Jessica flipps because her pride has been damage.
It feels like she has no real connection with how things work on the Internet and in real life when it comes to bad mouting and trolling. To act up like this when confronted by a troll is like reading a book and take huge offense to what the writer has written and the try to sue him.
This is entirely Jessicas pride that has take damage and she tries to regain it by fighting the trolls. That may be her poorest judgment to date and something that may end up hurting her a lot more and even Slayers in the end.

Well, I can't read Korean, so I wouldn't know whats being said. From what I can tell they're pretty basic shops, so its not like anyone would actually believe it was Eve.
