FXO is going above and beyond what I was hoping they would do in interacting with other Koreans so the team can learn more efficiently how to compete. Fou has always looked like a beleaguered team after Choya was forced to become the coach after the original one abandoned them and now they have access to resources to compete abroad like other teams do. I'm confident this merger will be successful for a very long time for the majority of players. As a spectator thanks for making this happen so I can be excited about the future of SC2's esports scene. I definitely want to see Leenock playing the States when he is on vacation from school just to shutdown all the criticisms unnecessarily made against him.

Plus, the House in Malaysia is setup as a full broadcasting studio with facilities built directly for casting tournaments and the like. Costs are also cheaper in Malaysia and many of FXO's operations are also out of there. And, well, there's a lot of *space*, where there just isn't for a team house in Korea. The 1st floor of the Malaysia house is probably larger than the Korea house. For the more esoteric aspects, it sits nicely between the major bits of the SEA region & Korea/Japan. It's easy for the Aussies to get home, for the Koreans to go there, and only the European/NA guys have a really long trip. So, there's a nice "shuttle" aspect between them. This is why the house in Malaysia always made a whole lot of sense. Now, just even more.

It's probably more "Team Korea" and "Team International". I imagine they'll actually have a few more of the Koreans out in Malaysia than we expect, simply because some of them will do better in a little more open environment than the standard Korean house. I've been one to say there's a hybrid system available of using Korean methods more intelligently. FXO may just be doing that.

You reckon Gom would really want to turn away Boss moneybags?

These things take time, so I'm going to say it was in discussions when that happened. Which makes the back & forth trolling of the match SO much better. ![]() And FXO & fOu will stay the "same" teams for this GSTL, so won't effect Fantasy. ![]()
