Two teams plus flying people around the world very often so far (and soon to be even more I suppose); no one on their team has won a big tournament yet (as far as I remember) to support the team (assuming they split the winnings to a certain % between the winner + the team); the FXOpen tournaments...
I want to see them do very well because they are investing so much into this and have some fun players on their team. I just hope they don't try to build things up too quickly and realize there's no money to go around anymore in a few months and die like 99% of eSports organizations that went about it their way in the past.
I guess they're trying to attract bigger sponsors and build a brand name, and of course that requires an initial investment but anyway, I'll hold further judgement for now because I suppose FXOBoss knows more about that than me.
As far as the team goes, I hope this means we will see a few FXOForeign players stay in the korean house and a few korean players flying out to tournaments in the future. Should be great for the scene and it will definitely allow the FXOKorea players to show their play more often, and hopefully up the skill level of the FXOForeign team as well. Don't worry. visit http://www.fxopen.com and you will know why they don't need to be worried. Hell I wouldn't be worried either when the front page says 'FREE 50,000 USD' cause i know they're investing in millions. millions man.
lol free $50,000 practice account... with fake money -.^
fx trading is a big business, but it is mostly a scam. its impossible to actually profit from it over the long term unless you're a multinational bank, and the arbitrage costs basically make it an alternative way to gamble your money. but people are results orientated and some may claim they can "predict the exchange rate" when in reality it will either go up or down, and if it goes the way you predict you're a hero and if not its just "the market"

another step on FXO's journey to make ESPORTS huge. i love all of you guys over there. without you, this scene wouldn't be the same at all.

FXO acquiring Fou, did not see that coming.

Sounds like FXO is getting ready to dump their "white guys" for Koreans to me. Stay tuned.

Wow, don't even know what to say here. Boss you deserve your name and I'm really interested to see on how this works out.
Thank you.

dump their whole foreign division? I can't see that happening, even if the korean division is better, foreigners will always like to watch foreigners as well.

noooo not the FXO uniforms, those are so ugly...geez.

They could probably buy a whole country. So, dont worry about their money :p

FXO should buy SlayersBoxer as their coach. FXO instantly wins the GSTL
And QXC wins the GSL

Whoa. I'm late to the party but this is huge news.

FXO Korea is a much better investment than FXO international imo

I doubt they will, their "white guys" are a group of extremely skilled players who are underperforming in Korea. Also, note that there will be "internal rankings." What this means for Foreign Tournaments is that the bottom of those rankings likely won't travel/compete. This is a smart move to keep the costs of the team fairly level despite the addition of an entirely new group of players, as well as offering the opportunity to the current FXO roster to improve with the Koreans and compete in those internal rankings. It's win-win for FXO.

I'm worried that this will make tgun, SLoG and OptiK even more overshadowed than they already are

You probably shouldn't stop reading there....it continues to say 'practice account NOW'. I really don't see how offering a free practice account has anything to do with the financial standing of a company. I guess when someone claims to 'know they are investing in millions' based on a half-read advertisement on a website it really speaks to the power of advertising.
