If this were a bunker rush, I think fOu would be the marines right now.
LOVE this analogy

That's actually a good analogy. Everything there makes sense.

Guess its good for SC since maybe he gets chance to go abroad for tournaments tho. FXO don't really have any stars, sheth is good but the rest is meh. fou got leenock and sc.
Oh well, hope SC and maybe leenock gets to go to some international tournaments after this.

I knew they had a partnership of some sorts coming, but this is a surprise. I still remember Choya being mentioned by wolf way way back before any of this started where wolf was saying how Choya was his favorite coach because he would always always come to watch each of his players play and support them. Heck, I began to notice that Choya more than anyone other coach would be the one coming into a booth and cheering up a fou member if they lost and trying to talk to them (I recommend you watch a lot of the VODs and you'll see Choya come almost immediately into the booth to cheer them up).
Heck, I think one of the main reasons no one ever gave him any slack was because Tastosis would ALWAYS be bashing the guy when he played. Yes, he wasn't exactly up to par as a top tier player, but for theWind, Tastosis would always make the excuse that he was a coach and it was expected that he wouldn't make it far, yet the excuse was not really given for Choya despite the fact that he more than anyone else came to watch his players play (which took up a lot of time) before the coaches started doing it en masse lately. Heck, what Choya has done is impressive by itself already and people really need to recognize it rather than just bash the guy. Now, thanks to FXO, Choya is finally being cut some slack for the work he does for his team which has been really underrated.

I'm a bit worried for FXO financially to be honest. I have no idea how much money FXOBoss can keep throwing around in the future, but I hope for his sake it's a lot. I'm sure he already knows this obviously but he just upped his spending by a bunch. Two teams plus flying people around the world very often so far (and soon to be even more I suppose); no one on their team has won a big tournament yet (as far as I remember) to support the team (assuming they split the winnings to a certain % between the winner + the team); the FXOpen tournaments...
I want to see them do very well because they are investing so much into this and have some fun players on their team. I just hope they don't try to build things up too quickly and realize there's no money to go around anymore in a few months and die like 99% of eSports organizations that went about it their way in the past.
I guess they're trying to attract bigger sponsors and build a brand name, and of course that requires an initial investment but anyway, I'll hold further judgement for now because I suppose FXOBoss knows more about that than me.
As far as the team goes, I hope this means we will see a few FXOForeign players stay in the korean house and a few korean players flying out to tournaments in the future. Should be great for the scene and it will definitely allow the FXOKorea players to show their play more often, and hopefully up the skill level of the FXOForeign team as well.

Very nice, grats to fou and FXO. I have to say i didn't see this coming. FXO is slowly becoming one of my favorite foreign teams.

I would love to understand the financial side of a move like this more. I don't know enough about team expenses, sponsorship, or whatever... but this strikes me as a fairly substantial capital investment. Without an immediate financial payoff. I wonder what the strategy of this move is?
As an above poster commented... I wonder if this is part of long term branding strategy for FXO... or if the SC2 Team is more of a labor of love. Either way, they are behaving as a model for corporate sponsorship in e-Sports.
I haven't always been a fan of FXOBoss. But I think as a community we should be thrilled about the level of commitment to e-Sports that this aquisition, and alot of the other FXO moves lately suggest. I am really gonna be pulling for these guys now.

If you ever heard Boss talk about business you'd know there's nothing to worry about. He's not the kind of person to do reckless things with money.

S class: GumihO, sC A class: Leenock

The thing to keep in mind is the infrastructure FXO put in place for improvement. Better players get access to better tournaments and better salaries.

best of luck to FXO for putting that much effort into their team, despite the results not being mind-boggling
hopefully this works well into your favor!

Nice FXoSc! Gl to the new "team"

Don't worry. visit http://www.fxopen.com and you will know why they don't need to be worried.
Hell I wouldn't be worried either when the front page says 'FREE 50,000 USD' cause i know they're investing in millions. millions man.

FXO is multi million dollar company.

Wow pretty sick. So much going on for FXO!

Only thing I don't like is that we'll lose one of the best team logos. I'm gonna miss that sweet shield and cross.
But seriously gogo FXO! This is amazing!
