Page 26 and onwards I will issue at least two day bans to anyone who clearly has not read the original topic post and the explanations contained therein. He was barred access to the event days before the actual event took place and used some random diamond player his account to try and get in anyway. Leave the racial bias at the door while you are at it as well pretty please.

As far as I can tell given your posts in this thread (and please correct me if I'm missing anything), Sixjax has yet to comment specifically on whether it approves or disapproves of Major's conduct. Will Sixjax take any action against Major for intentionally breaking the rules of a money tournament, smurfing in competitive play, and calling the tournament organizer a fag? I'd love to know this too. It's getting old players shitting on tourney admins and also just doing in general whatever they want. This is a big screw up for Major, and something needs to be both said and done in my opinion.

However you should read the post directly above yours, because I feel this sort of dodgy response is still unsatisfactory. If you don't take a Visible stance on the issue, it will tarnish the name of SixJax. Just saying it's dealt with and done does nothing to save face for SixJax. Unless you take a stance, the only stance that is represented of SixJax is Major's, which is definately not in your best interest. Please, I implore you, don't let something like this hurt your team. Take a visible stance on the issue.

What happens when athletes on sports teams make ridiculous comments or behave unacceptably? Punishment from the league / team.

Another interesting point is whether that Taiwanese tournament will still extend an invite to Major following the breakdown of all this. If it was me, I'd rescind the invite and give it to another player - it's not like there isn't plenty of talent in NA that can put up a good showing - as a way of laying down a marker in terms of how the community should deal with sportsmanship into the future.

Will Sixjax take any action against Major for breaking the rules of a money tournament, smurfing in competitive play, and calling the tournament organizer a fag? The Sixjax team does not condone how MajOr acted, and I've already talked to Juan a few times about the incident since I found out about it. Juan calling someone a 'fag' is inexcusable (it offends my leftist sensibilities, as well) and if he had been told not to play he shouldn't have played. I was contacted on Friday night (PST) by Kelly Milkies about the event and I talked to Juan shortly after finding out the whole story. The following day Dox contacted me. I apologized to him then for the grief Juan had caused. I'm hoping the conversation the team has had with Juan stuck, and that you won't be seeing anymore antics like this from him. I'm not going into the details of our chat, as I'm of the opinion that those sort talks should remain between the team. As reassuring as I'm sure it would be for those upset to see how we went about dealing with the situation, it's something that I don't think is a appropriate to talk about with the public.

Despite being immature, major is a good player, they are not going to boot him off the team because of this. They probably talked to him about it, told him it was wrong and not to do it again, gave him a slap on the wrist and moved on. He's been caught smurfing in WCG. He's now been caught smurfing in this tournament. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. If all his team gives him is a "slap on the wrist" then there is something fundamentally wrong here. It's like when you hear about college athletes getting arrested for ridiculous things and you think "Wow, I wonder what their coach has to say about that?" then you get upset when you find out that the answer is "Not much." This SHOULD be punished harshly. Cheating of any sort should be completely unacceptable if you represent a professional organization/team. People make mistakes, yes, but this wasn't a mistake. He knew what the rules were, and he chose to ignore them. There's no "mistake" there.

This might not be the most morally reprehensible thing ever done in the Starcraft 2 scene but it is sad that Major will almost certainly see no consequences as it may embolden him and make him continue to think that he is above everyone else, rules do not apply to him and anyone that disagrees is just a dumb "fag". EDIT: Looking forward to hearing SOTG's take on this and also the recent acquistion of FoU by FXO.

This thread is getting out of control, he isn't killing eSports. There is no reason this should be 50+ pages long.
