Alternatively, you can also add this key to another region by the beginning of the URL www.battle.net (example: "eu.battle.net") in your browser to modify or assign a different key Battle.net account. U bought points and u didn't buy a key. U need to recharge ur account with this code and then u can get with the points the tw version. A few posts/pages back is the link and explanation

You change you region near the stop right in your battle.net account to Taiwan. Then you enter the code your purchased under Account > Recharge Account. Then you goto SC2 and buy the 1150 Unlimited time and download the client.

Worked for me! Thanks OP! It did take some figuring out though ... I took screen shots and will write up an exact in detailed "for dummies" step by step... Edit: And make sure when you create a b.net account you use your region (US/Canada for example) and then change the url in the address bar from us.battle.net to tw.battle.net and it'll reload the page to the correct region ... make sure you are DOUBLE CHECKING what region it says, it'll even say the "digital download is for region: taiwan" ignore the "warning" that may or may not appear about retail copies will be in the region purchased in... that just means that if you bought a copy from gamestop then it'll force you to use that cd key for NA... Now i have 3 SC accounts ... >.< i should go get a russian one... haha

Hey guys. I am going to test my latency with pingtest.net and I was wondering whats the range of pings that are generally okay for gaming. Also, the current price is ~42 dollars on offgamers correct? Thanks for the help!

Just bought a TW account for € 32,88 Quite a fair price, considering that i paid via paysafecard which i got from across the street! Europe is awesome i heard you lot across the sea pay like 60 dollars?!
so i bought the 1150 pts. card, redeemed it via bnet and was able to choose between regions. very awesome indeed.
this is my first post on TL, too bad HuK is not going to read this

Ok so I have a Taiwan account, but I want the korean sounds and language ofcourse. But at the blizzard site the only clients i can download are the Taiwan and Southeast Asia & ANZ. Does any one have a link to download the korean client?
|
i got the proper installation files for the korean client, which actually does work for me. problem is, for the korean client it seems that you need an age verification and i think also a korean account. but hey here it is:
https://kr.battle.net/account/download/index.xml
google is your friend, mate but you wont be able to use it!
as for the taiwan client, did you do any editing in order to get it working properly? my installation always cancels at 5 %.

I have the same problem. The directories I'm installing with are different, but it doesn't seem to be working for me.

[Edit] Weird, blizz had my account listed as having bought the starter edition instead of the full. I was able to update the profile now that the site is back up.
Hi all,
Got the game installed -- purchased through offgamers. I bought the full version instead of the 150 point trail.
I can login, but I keep getting this popup and I'm not sure what it means -- when I click the yellow button, it takes me to the upgrade page on blizz's site which is offline, atm:

I had to rename my NA install dir, and then compress and remove the userdata dirs to install.

simply use the relocalizer! it works for me that way now and that PERFECTLY. on page 69 - 71 u will find the 1.3.6 version change your localization to #135 if you have the taiwan account! i played the first ladder game and i smashed my opponent hard :D
you can switch between those localizations and only use one client
