So that means they will have KR+TW and LA+NA on one account? THATS CHEAP EDIT: Just notices it's SEA who gets the NA, still SEA + LA/NA ![]()

But there is a separate server present for sea, hence linking them to other regions will be a lot more complex, because one set of people connect to the SEA server, whereas the people you are linking to use another server...so how do they then play? pc connects to server, and then the servers pass information between each other, and then the server connects to the other person ? That seems like might cause a lot of problems. But playing with the koreans would be a lot of fun(even if it is at a higher latency), would be happy if they find a way to do it ![]() oh ok good explanation I didnt realise there were differences in setup : )

All of the good players who were good to have on NA/EU had already bought accounts there. In terms of lag, all those servers being merged are apparently already on the same server as NA, EU, SK. Also cheating won't get out of hand probably. Cheating probably got out of hand because Blizzard doesn't really pay much attention to LA or RU >.>. Now that they're being merged, they'll probably be less hackers (at least the detectable ones) due to Blizzard really paying attention to the more popular servers.

Nice for Blizzard to be doing this, sorely needed for players in those fringe regions. Now cross-realm please =)

I feel like the serious LA players always choose to play on English realms, so for the most part only noobs are left on the LA realms. I rarely play team gamers in SC2 though, so whatever. Do I have to state the same thing again and again about WoW? WoW =/= SC2, both were made by blizzard BUT the community is really different.

As a LA player, I haven't found cheating nor lag, plus, LA server is held in the same server as NA one afaik. You're just stating your personal thoughts, they may be valid, but you have no proof to show that LA or RU is a massive cheater/lagger community, it depends on the ISP mostly, so, it's different for every player, at least, for me, I never had lag/cheat issues in LA. Just one week for the server merging and get positioned on silver probably :D. From my experience most people using hacks in WC3 were from Russia and SA, even though the actual developers usually weren't.

When have you ever heard ANYTHING about the LA server? Ever hear of Fenix? or Capoch? I hear those guys are pretty good and they're from LA server. Plus alot of the top LA players already play in NA and it's actually more rare for them NOT to already have an NA account. Such ignorance, ugh... So basically... we got jipped.. since we will have no new players come out of LA while Korea + Europe will probably have at least couple hundred thousand... meanwhile..everybody from LA server "mostly already has NA" ... My original post still stands.

I hope that the region linking improves the gaming experience for all.
