This isn't crime which can be brought to court.

And it seems a few bans have been received from what I see, still the guest account issue needs to be fixed, as I said a guest ladder would be a good compromise.

If Blizzard can prove the hack is hurting their product of course they can do it.

Sad thing is, the hack went public and the place will be crawling with them. It would be hard to imagine them being ignorant of that site, since it was such a big source of hacks in wc3 and it seems to be supplying them in sc2 from what ppl in this thread are saying. Guest accounts not being able to ladder would help but there would still be plenty of hacks in situations where hacks were made public such as the current one. wc3 didn't have guest accounts but hackers would still go out and just buy cd keys

Yes he does, he admitted as much today when I was watching Liquid Tyler stream. PiQLiQ said something along the lines of "cause I respect you I won't drop hack you" when they played a game on ladder. I know that saying it doesn't prove it but you don't get a reputation of being a hacker or dirtbag by being a nice guy.

I looked through the match history of Rapdawg, Prometheus, and EGIdrA. The Rapdawg and Idra accounts won massive amount of 1v1s, the games are under 2 minutes long. His only losses are from getting matched against other drophackers. I know the real Rapdawg is behind this because his real account (Prometheus) has been 2v2ing with the smurf accounts EGIdrA and Rapdawg. The worst part is Rapdawg is going to get away with this because his real accounts (Rapdawg and Prometheus) aren't actually drophacking. It's his smurf accounts (Rapdawg and EGIdrA) stealing 1v1 wins from actual Masters/GMs and getting his real account free 2v2 wins.

"Mod Edit: The drop hacking account PiQLiQ is not the same as the real PiQLiQ account. So, PiQLiQ doesn't hack (unless he's smurfing as himself). Same with LiquidHayprO"

They usually (in every game they made) gather up a list of hackers and ban them in a wave.

Your post is completely inaccurate, I recommend you edit it. He 2v2'd with EGldrA (the drophacker) but never drophacked himself. Prometheus was banned as a result, despite not ever using a drop hack. The Rapdawg that drophacks is not actually RapDawg.

this is stupid. Someone on the B.net forums said he talked to a blizz employe and was told they can't do anything about this before 2 or 3 months. Seems to me like it's the most urgent matter to happen in SC2 yet.

To me it sounds the same since he's getting something out of a hack even though it's not directly his.
