It'll be great to see incontrol compete. I don't enjoy NASL as much as the other tournaments but I have nothing bad to say about his or gretorps casting and thought they worked very well together. It'll be strange to see season 2 without him, but.. it'll be great to see incontrol compete.

Oh Thank God. I want my Geoff being a player, not a caster. He's a fine caster but its holding back his playing results.

This also creates more opportunity for more full time casters to get in on the action.

This is the best for all parties involved imo.

Hes done so much for the NA Starcraft 2 scene, and for that i love him always.

that being said i wasn't a fan of his casting so i figure hes better being one of the players ^_^

It's good for iNcontroL that he can focus more on playing pro, but i dont see this as the end of the world for NASL. You guys said they are backed for 3 seasons, and this is just one guy who is leaving the organization. NASL started off rough but has improved a lot IMO since they started. They are having the finals at a live location which is great, and I think this will generate some more interest. Also the upcoming break gives them a good chance to look at season 1 and look on more things to work on. Some things were a bit out of control (players not showing up for matches is not NASL's fault), but others were (stream crashing, possible online lag). I'm very happy that they're about to complete their first season and I'm excited to see more sc2 action from them.

A live studio for regular season matches would be sick, but I think they're gonna need to get more interest and draw in more money before that. You gotta take one step at a time.

Watching his stream, if you would see how his playskill went way down. Right now, he is making noob micro mistakes left and right. the thing is he can't compete with people woh practice 7-8 hours a day if he only does like 3. I support this decesion since I loved his more ass a player than a full time caster.

Gonna miss gretorp/incontrol combo but hopefully the season gets even better next year with all of the new casters. But I really think NASL need to find a specific partnership and not just keep bringing in a new wingman for gretorp every week.
