no luck since 1+ years, can't find lyrics, Shazam and SoundHound don't work (even with Audacity's voice removal). Anybody got an idea? Song starts at 38:46. | ||

I decided to try brute-force searching on Youtube guided by the heuristic that (historically) BK has a tendency to pick "newer" or recently released songs. I also know his past choices tended to have colour ful album covers. To that end, I found what I was looking for via a search on Youtube. Apparently it's by the artist, "Mystic Prophecy" from their 2018 album Monuments uncovered. That is, BK used a song from an album that is less than a year old; hell, it's less than a month old! At the time of this writing, the video was posted on January 13th (only 2 weeks before the twitch broadcast!). Man, that BK sure knows how to keep fresh/up-to-date. Now if only he would make his playlist more publicly accessible. Now, if someone can tell me the artist of the song that plays immediately after -i.e., here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/222779462?t=01h46m14s I'd be quite grateful! (I know it's a cover of Blondie's Call Me but I don't know who the artist is - too many covers of that song on Youtube). ALSO: At https://www.twitch.tv/videos/222779462?t=03h49m47s there's a cover of Elton John's "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" but again, I'm not sure who is covering it. Can anyone tell me what song plays at approximately 3:55:49 of this video? It plays immediately after Scarlett beats Rogue during the final match. For the life of me I can't make out the words because the commentators are talking so goddamn loud it essentially drowns out 75% of the lyrics and there are no non-commentary versions that I can find (not to mention apps like Shazam won't work because of the commentary). The percussion instrument in the background does not sound like any type of drum. It is not one of the ones I am familiar with. It is seem to be one of the ritual ensemble with a lot of pauses rather than pitch variations. | ||
