The main things I'll talk about are my captain pick and my Anti Pick of MC. Do not hate on me but I feel like oGsMC peaked during an era where all protoss were doing well and despite him winning many games I never really ever thought he was that good. He has not won anything in a while and I do not expect much from him going into this GSTL.
MarineKing is my favorite player in the GSL and overall. He shows a huge variety of builds and exciting games while managing to hold his spot as one of the top players. I feel like he will go undefeated he is so overdue for a win somewhere.

+ Show Spoiler +ChronaldMain Team8 DongRaeGu - Spent 8 on this Zerg monster based on last season's GSTL 2 HwangSin - Heard a lot of good things about this player, and he is on a smaller team, so more chances to play and get points 1 Kuma - Haven't heard much about him, but my friend uses the same ID, so I took him (he was last pick) 4 Min - Another Zerg monster. Picked him for his solid performances in past GSTL 9 MMA (captain) - Porbably the easiest pick in the entire Fantasy Draft. This guy is nuts. Sicko nuts. And yea Polt beat him, but lets forget about that and remember how this player single handedly won TWO GSTLs for SlayerS 2 Noblesse - Another MVP monster, this guy is a beast and I'm excited to see him play more. 2 TheStC - ONLY TWO POINTS??? SRSLY?!? This guy is a beastly Terran who no one ever talks about, I expect oGs to play him quite a bit. 4 ThorZaIN - MC said he was the best non-Korean coming to Korea, I trust his judgement, and took the Swedish Terran 4 MVP - MVP because I think that they have the chance to beat SlayerS, and they were only 4 points, which let me keep my 2 big stars. Anti Team3 Check - Easy pick, he's not playing well at all recently. Moar roaches = moar losses 4 FruitDealer - Same as above, he's definitely fallen off the horse, and I don't expect him to score any points this season. 6 Trickster - This is the saddest pick I had to make. I LOVE sSKS, but sadly he hasn't played well in almost 2 months from what I have seen. I REALLY hope I was wrong on this one.
And there you have it, a pretty good team if you ask me, any comments just PM me as I won't be sifting through this thread most likely.

I choose MarineKing as my captain because i had Leta as captain in all my FPLs and MKP is like the Leta of SC2.
i went for a few high profile players and some ppl i expect to get atleast a few wins.
My anti-team consists of players i respect but that havent done that well.
In FPL my Anti-Team always owned the shit out of every season i picked them

+ Show Spoiler +Main Team1 Creatoriirc played very solidly vs mvp in the first round of the super tournament. i remember being reasonably impressed and given that he's only 1 point, seemed like a good call. 8 DongRaeGuno explanation needed, dude is one of the top zergs and has completely owned face in past GSTL's. worth the 8 points? maybe not, but i still cant resist placing him here. 1 Heroneeded another 1 pointer and this guy seems to be the only protoss on oGs besides MC that has actually gathered some results. teams seem to enjoy leading with their lesser accomplished players, also, so its likely that hero gets some playtime. 1 JookTothis guy wreaked some serious havoc in the super tournament for a while, which was very unexpected since no one had seen his play in a long time. i think that deserves some respect and therefore he earned the spot on this team, for only 1 point. 5 Julyhugely volatile playstyle that can truly take players off guard. has been tearing up foreign tournaments, has been a dangerous player in past seasons, would be very intimidating to face in a team league setting... i think he'll do well as always. 3 Keenthe team requires a terran and i had 3 points to spare. keen seemed like the best bet. huge fan of his ceremonies too so that throws a little personal bias into the equation. 8 NesTea (captain) favorite player in the GSL since season 2. unfathomably solid in all 3 matchups, guaranteed to get some playtime, one of IM's major powerhouses. gives me goosebumps every time i see him play. 3 Younghwahas done well in previous GSTL's. very cool build-oriented player, and probably IM's best protoss player unless someone is mysteriously eluding me. as with nestea, virtually ensured at least some playtime this season, assuming IM go as far as they have done previously. 6 SlayerSi intentionally allocated myself 30 points for individual players so that i could have the past champions, SlayerS, in the team slot. almost picked startale for the sake of going against the grain, but felt it wasnt necessary. i wouldve picked IM b/c i'm a huge fanboy of theirs but that leaves meager prospects for the actual player spots. ;D Anti Team4 InCanever been a fan of inca, his gimmicky/cheesy play vs nada and finally his laughable ZvP showing vs nestea cemented him as one of my least favorite players. he's likely to be played by oGs and with PvZ in particular as shaky as it is right now, i'm not sure he's going to get any results. :/ 3 Kyrixnever impressed me, not likely to win, etc. 6 Leenocktrickster seems to be the popular choice here so for the sake of differentiation i decided to go with another player i feel is way past his prime. actually i guess he just qualified for code A, so maybe this is a silly choice, but i'm just going with gut feeling on this one.

Alica - Likely to see a lot of play
Cezanne - Decent Z for his price. Not expecting high returns but low price made it worth it
July - Expecting to see him a lot for ST to finish off tough opponents. Volatile results but good player and would expect him to win a number of matches over the season
MMA - Captain. Stable player, strong past results. Assuming he can carry on his past performances. If he does, well worth his hefty price tag
Nani - The one westerner I would expect to post decent results right off the bat. He strikes me as the individual who goes deepest in all the westerner tournaments, I think he will obviously get good play time, but also have relative success compared to his fellow foreigners. Took Nani over Tzain after Tzain couldn't take July
Tassadar - Good player and recent aquisition. Cheap too. Expecting good results and is on a team likely to air him.
TheStC - Good player on the cheap. Not expecting routine usage but hope to pick up a handful of mid-round points with him over the season.
Yugioh - Another decent zerg on the cheap. Similar rationale as above, hoping to pick up a few mid-match points with him from time to time.
Slayers - I see them going all the way again what with boxer's eye for talent.

I decided to pick some solid players that frequently appear in the Team Leagues, like July and Mvp, putting Thorzain and Lyn as solid fallback on those two.
The team wasn't very hard to pick since IM has never failed to put up a good fight in the Team leauges, and to finish it off I put some players of interest to fill out the roster.

Creator for only one point is a real bargain. IM has a habit of putting out their lower roster as a starting player, so I decided to pick out some likely players that would be the starting player.
Mvp is probably the most costly out of all the players but he is also out of all the 9-point players the single player that has appeared the most in the Team League, (Maybe MC has just as much, but accounting for the fact that IM didn't participate last TL I just went with Mvp).

Anti Team3 ChoyaAs the coach of fOu, I really doubt he'll play that much, and fOu won't get wins. 4 InCaa PvP sniper that won't get sent out too much, and as much as everyone loves oGs they don't win very often. 6 TricksterWaaaaaaaay past his prime and overvalued at 6 points.

Prime seems like good value at 4 points, I know they haven't had success in the past but I have a feeling they will do well this GSTL. Anypro, mkp, polt, all very solid consistent players who can take games off most people. Also a few up and comers coming through code A also.

Fruitdealer has been just good enough to stay in code s for a lot of seasons now. I can see him being played a fair bit, but I can't see him winning much. Moon and Thorzain don't play for a while so hopefully I can swap them out. Even if I can't, I don't see Moon winning much, and as much as I hope Thorzain will do well I don't think he's quite at the level where he can compete with the top Koreans. F. United are in the harder group too, so Thorzain will end up playing a lot of difficult players. You can change your team for the duration of the signups but later on I don't think so. Problem is even though they don't play first 6 weeks they will play and by the time their points will be very high as their played to not played match ratio will be much higher than anyones. Point being that even if you can change them, I doubt you will be able to due to points If its the same as BW then you can trade your members, values of players change according to how they perform(how much points they get basically) you can only trade too players of lower value, (E.G DRG is 8 points, but you can trade him for say, Nada at 4 points) so you can gamble. Trades are done after each week of GTSL league if I am correct. If you are really smart you can actually trade in a way that according to the schedule you will get the most points out of. But that is sooooo much work. Note that you can not trade your captain.
