6 SlayerS - I chose SlayerS instead of IM because i wanted a more well rounded list of players instead of having a few clear weak links.

I've been following teamliquid lately and it's great site. Since I like team leagues - SC2 GSTL and BW proleague/winner's league ... LAN environment makes them awesome, I've decided to register and try TL Fantasy GSTL (sounded like it could be fun). My team and description is in the spoiler below. + Show Spoiler + Balkan - part of Europe where boss comes from - me! ... not brilliant name :p, but it's unimportant Main Team 5 ![]() 4 ![]() 5 ![]() although he beat sen at dreamhack 3 ![]() 4 ![]() Ro8 where he lost 3:2 to TOP 2 ![]() 5 ![]() 2 ![]() 6 StarTale - since it's all-kill format, it's good to pick format with better player(s) rather than variety ... picked ST first, that's why there are no high point players in my team My opinion is it's better to pick team with strong individual players like oGs(MC), IM (MVP/Nestea), ST (Bomber), ... beacuse of all-kill format and team victory brings lots of points. That's why my players aren't ones with higher points. Alicia, TOP and July (and InCa/Line maybe) should regularly bring some points, and others even with loss won't change points. Although, SlayerS might be better pick for same points than ST, but SlayerS are little too popular for my taste :D. Anti Team 3 ![]() 5 ![]() 5 ![]() Above reasoning could prove totally wrong ... oh well ... Edit: Now when i look, I should have included non-ace players capable of 2/3/all-kill like Losira ... that would give lots of points ...

EARTH! FIRE! WIND! WATER! HEART! + Show Spoiler + Earth! Fire! Wind! Water! Heart! Main Team 5 ![]() + Show Spoiler + Alicia is SlayerS best protoss, he has been very consistent when he plays. Very good pick for 5 points imo. ![]() + Show Spoiler + GanZi went pretty far in the super tourney and he has Ryung and MMA to practice with, i think he is a steal at 5 points. ![]() + Show Spoiler + Have you seen HuK lately? He is destroying everyone at Dreamhack and i think he will be played often as one of oGs' good toss'. I think all that korean training has paid off finally. An amazing deal at one point ![]() + Show Spoiler + July has been super solid and has posted very good results in every tournament he has entered. I believe he is a super solid zerg that will do very well in the future. He is my captain and my captain he will be. (also 5 points!?!) ![]() + Show Spoiler + Junwi has been flying below the radar but i have seen a spark in is play and i believe in him. He has losira to practice with too. 2 points and being trained by one of the best zergs, good deal. ![]() + Show Spoiler + NaDa is consistent to say the least. one of oGs' best terrans who has been slowly rising in the ranks. ![]() + Show Spoiler + As i said with GanZi, Ryung has been performing great and has MMA to practice with. I think of MMA as the dad, teaching his kids GanZi and Ryung everything he knows. ![]() + Show Spoiler + Yes, i picked Sheth. He will be in korea for 1+ months at least and i believe in him to do well. I think he is FXO's anchor and will pull them through the rough spots. Perhaps he is overpriced at 3 points, yes he is very solid but he hasn't put up amazing results in major tournaments. 2 points perhaps but i pick because i believe + Show Spoiler + oGs hasn't performed stellar in the past but now that they're allowed to use HuK and Jinro, they will be performing very well this season. They have an incredibly deep roster at their disposal and that will benefit them greatly. With so many players to send out, it will be hard for other teams to have snipers specially prepared for them as they will never know who they will be up against. Anti Team 4 ![]() + Show Spoiler + ST already has a very good lineup without him. I don't really see that spark in his play when i watch him and i don't think ST does either. ![]() + Show Spoiler + Yes InCa can be a very good PvP sniper but thats it. He got absolutely demolished by NesTea in the finals. With our homeboys (HuK and Jinro ![]() ![]() + Show Spoiler + San is good, but not that good, not that much to say about him, needed a 5 pointer to top my list off.

Seems a bit silly. It's a really weird scheduling, isn't it? I'd have though you'd alternate which group had an "extra" match each week but apparently not. Still, I think it will mainly add to the strategy, or maybe not that big a deal. After all, you can only trade two at one time, any particular trade might go bad, etc.

Alicia is a great T sniper. Jookto and Line were the low point players that I think will really shine. Nada is one of the most consistent players and I took a gamble with TOP, hopefully it will pay off. HuK will ride his high after winning Dreamhack (not a spoiler just my prediction) and play really well.

Team Lineup: Captain: Dongraegu Maka HuK Youngwha TheSTC Yugioh Sheth Guineapig Antiteam: Rainbow Killer San I tried to combine players that would most likely (or in some cases have to) come out with the most likely to win/lose. I think putting San on an antiteam is a safe bet because NS is VERY likely to put him out there. Edit: Naniwa -> Maka because I needed a prime player and Naniwa won't be playing until August. Kept Tzain because... well idk I'll prolly change that too Edit 2: Thorzain -> Yugioh becaused I needed a good cheaper Slayers player, stuck between him and Frozen and Thorzain won't be playing until August.

+ Show Spoiler + Main Team 2 ![]() 9 ![]() 5 ![]() 2 ![]() 4 ![]() 2 ![]() 3 ![]() 3 ![]() 6 StarTale Anti Team 4 ![]() 4 ![]() 5 ![]() I chose Ace because I see him getting a fair amount of play and he's a good buy at only 2 points. Bomber was chosen because....he is bomber and will no doubt be a clutch player in the middle of each series, as will July. Junwi was a bit of a gamble as I'm not sure he'll play as many games as the previous 3, but I think he'll do well if given a chance. Thorzain will no doubt be playing regularly, and he's a TSL3 winner. So at 4 points cost it's worth it. ViOlet is in code S, and only lost to MVP in the previous code A round, and did pretty well in the Super Tournament, only losing to Ryung. He'll no doubt get a lot of games for MVP and at 2 points he's a steal. Virus, not really sure about this pick, but we'll see. Younghwa is a steal at 3 points IMO, I rate this guy and he'll get a fair amount of air time (hopefully) With so many ST players in my main team, it makes sense to choose ST as my team to win. If Bomber and July get going and are supported well by the second liners (Ace etc), they should make the second round easily, especially as they are in the easier group. San and Byun were chosen as they are in weaker teams and will no doubt be playing a lot of games and are solid but not great players. So I expect them to lose fairly regularly. Maka was kind of a meh choice, he'll play fairly regularly and I don't really rate him, but then again I didn't rate polt either......
