Main Team + Show Spoiler + 9 MC I expect MC to be used often and for him to get many wins. oGs will need to dig deep in GSTL Group A with SlayerS, MVP, Prime and TSL on that side of the bracket. Kratoss Protoss fighting. 5 Alicia Out of all SlayerS player, I think Alicia will have the most bang for the bucks. Hopefully he will get send in to snipe Terrran often. 5  GuineaPigA gamble. GuineaPig is difficult to snipe as he plays Random. If he gets played, at worst he will be 0 point (+1 for picked / -1 for losing) but he is one of the player that has a chance to get long win streak if he gets sent early. And he will get sent early as it's probably too risky to hold him for too long since he is Random. 5 July (Captain)Assuming Bomber is the clean-up player for ST, July should get played more often than Bomber. World Championship and MLG shows that July is capable of stringing multiple wins. Here's also the God of War. The choice of Captain as I foresee possibility to trade away MC / Alicia, but never July LOL. That's why he is captain. 2 AceWanted to pick Squirtle here (no real reason, I just loved his play) but at 4 points he is too expensive for my team. Ace at 2 points is the perfect stand-in. 1 HeroHe is a steal at 1 point, really. But then again, no one would probably choose him at 2 (unless it's for anti-team) so I also understand why he was costed at a measly single point. 2 TaejaHopefully he will get another all kill and make it a bargain 2 points. 1 BBoongBBoongNothing to see here, just using my last point. Prime is not that deep a team hopefully BBoongBBoong will get used sporadically. He might even get a win sometimes. Not likely though. 6 StarTale Initially I wanted to go oGs-TL. Then I remember the teams on that side of the bracket and choose ST instead even if ST is more expensive. I expect ST to go 4-1 (possibly losing only to IM) which is not bad for 6 points. Anti Team + Show Spoiler + 3 CheckIf all goes according to plan, Prime will get 2-3 or 1-4 in the group, and Check will only get selected no more than once or twice and probably never win. Making it a safe 3 pick for the anti-team. 4 MakaSee above for Check, but Maka actually has a chance to win games. But hopefully in the team with MKP and Polt, Prime should not need a third Terran that often and leave Maka rotting on the bench. 6 TricksterSad to say this but the once seemingly impragable oGsSSKS is now a mere mortal. I expect he will get picked often and will win some games. Hopefully he won't get any streak and TSL will finish no better than 2-3. Edit: Add spoiler tag and fix some spellings | ||

I thought picking the right team won't be any harder than choosing an origin and a class in DA:O, but I couldn't be more wrong. Well, I could, but that's not the point now. First, I immidietly chose DRG and MMA, the two beast, but the problem with MMA is that he's not playing that much. Sure, if he plays, he delivers, but DRG is much more likely to get out to the field. And he delivers just as much, and costs 1 point less, so he's a great deal. Who cares he couldn't qualify to Code A, we all saw what he is capable of - you don't necessary need a certification that you are good. And of course, he's my captain - the team doesn't have any senior players, so skill was the main factor in my deciding. Thorzain is my favourite player, 4 is my favourite number, recently I had so much luck with this number, and Thorz value and trading value are 4s, so it was an obvious sign I must hire him. I really hope he does well! I picked Alicia because I like him as well, but also, I don't see him losing too many games. He is a really good Protoss. My team was lacking a good korean Terran, so for 3 points SuperNova was an obvius choose for me. GuineaPig plays a LOT and wins a LOT, so if I want any chance of winning, I had to get him. Hero, Taeja, Puzzle - they will play a lot as weel, they will win a lot as well, and the three of them cost as much as GuineaPig. Woooooot. My team is SlayerS because they've really become my favourite team (so much emotiooonnnn woo <33), and I even sacrificed points for them - even though I probably would've been betetr with oGs or MVP. | ||

For example, I think Ace and Squirtle are better picks than July, because they ALWAYS play, but July is usually reserved as the last guy. I figure Sheth and qxc have good shots of getting wins and they were cheap. I took MVP (team), Guinea Pig, and DRG just for awesome's sake. Plus, I'm a random player so I love watching Guinea Pig. My anti-team is all fOu because they've gotten swept more times than any other team. To round out my team I players that are good at a specific matchup: Alicia (PvT) and Younghwa (PvP) as I think that improves their chances of participating / winning. | ||
