EDIT: Oh wait, it's $25, that's quite a lot actually. They've already kind of established a month's value as $10 ($20 without ads), so that's kind of a lot.

Just some ignorant kid who gets everything paid for by mommy and daddy. As a person who works in a down economy, paid off 30k in student loans and put himself through college id like to think otherwise. There so many people who mismanage money which are probably people like you who cant even afford $25 bucks. Sorry buddy 18 units does not equate to a fulltime job. Theres plenty of opportunity out there, go find it buddy.

If I'm going to pay for it, I'd like to see more better casters to assist Tastosis. I'd wonder how much GomTV is charging in Korea for the GSTL... ah well, when i get drunk enarf, i might just pay for it but if i do and this new GSTL turn out to be a lackluster (*cough* NASL *cough*) i'll be forever pissed.

Still, he's arguing about something completely fair. Shit costs money because they need money to produce more shit. If we went by the same prices as the last gstls then this is a completely 100% fair price. I honestly have no idea what people are complaining about.

He could also be homeless without a job. What does that have to do with anything? We're discussing whether the price here is fair; I don't see why GSL should be a charity all of a sudden. Fact is, GOM has been very reasonable in the past (they lowered the original price of a season ticket at season 1.) Based on the math, I see nothing outrageous here. The only thing that makes me raise my eyebrows is the $40 ad-free package, which I doubt will be very popular unless they lower that price or create some sort of bundle. However, I don't consider anything done 'unfair' to the viewers, and ultimately we have a wide range of options to fit most needs. If you're jobless with no income, there's always the free stream option?

In Russia, for instance, researchers noted that legal versions of the film The Dark Knight went for $15. That price, akin to what a US buyer would pay, might sound reasonable until you realize that Russians make less money in a year than US workers. As a percentage of their wages, that $15 price is actually equivalent to a US consumer dropping $75 on the film link GOM could make more money from places like Russia if they adjusted the prices per country so that it is the same percentage of their wages most likely. I hope they realize this so they can make that extra money for esports.

But hes allowed to judge me because im being responsible? Look the original argument is whether or not $25/$40 is justified, which in my opinion it is.

Also as a loyal Gomtv supporter I would like to see a package deal emerge within the next few months. Having to buy so many different tickets makes it convenient for those who don't watch all the different leagues but as a huge fan of GomTV and especially tastosis I watch all of them and I'd rather not have to purchase 3 different types of tickets.

Those saying it's too expensive probably couldn't afford it when it was 10$ a week either. But why does a team game cost .71 cents a game when the regular GSL cost less per game? I think they need to raise the regular GSL price to whatever .71 cents a game is since people are clearly willing to pay for it. Why don't MLG and dreamhack charge money for games I think they should charge to watch the livestream at about .71 cents/game streamed.
