(either really one sided, or 2 bad players, drebie vs painuser was just so painful to watch) I understand that, but speaking in numbers, NASL is the better deal and that is why some people may have a problem with it, that's all.

So to clarify, no, I will not purchase a ticket, but not because it is "too expensive".

Not everyone is guaranteed to make $1000/mth working at mcdonalds or even has a job of any sort. Anyways, I probably still will purchase the pass. I just can't turn down an opportunity to watch thorzain/naniwa/fxo vs koreans. I think Moonan is megatalented and will surprise. But the price is steep. I can't help but feel they know foreigners want to watch and they think they can gouge money from us. For the majority of american college students that is A LOT lol... most of us are broke as a joke. I don't understand what that guy was talking about. Just some ignorant kid who gets everything paid for by mommy and daddy.

You are now paying less on a per-game basis, since the team league itself has been dramatically expanded. If you were planning on watching the GSTL anyways for this many games, you are paying LESS MONEY TOTAL as well.

We wanted more foreigners in GSL, so GOM gave away Code A/S spots. We want to see a foreigner team in GSTL, so GOM invited and accommodated FXOpen. We asked GOM to blow up GSTL, so GOM made it into a full league. The least we can do is chip in a bit for the prize pool?

I want GSL to switch to a flat monthly payment system. Like 15 bucks a month or something. Anyway, it's sad I'll have to miss all this awesome GSL stuff because of money. It kicks the shit out of other tournaments just by having the players there in person. Only downside is lame finals every season (except GSTL has killer finals every time).

Won't be buying, will be watching any stream I have time for though.

It's like complaining that a gallon of milk is more expensive than a quart of milk, despite the fact that the gallon is cheaper than 4 quarts would be, SO YOURE GETTING MORE STUFF FOR YOUR MONEY

$25 or $40 is a lot to pay in one go when you're not immediately getting the entertainment, like you would buying a video game or going out to see a movie.

The old GSTL price made each of its 7 sets be worth 71 cents each for a total of $5. The new GSTL price charges each of its 35 sets 71 cents each for a total of $25. The price per set is the EXACT SAME as the previous GSTLs. You just get way more sets, so the total price is more expensive. Well, OF COURSE buying 5 hamburgers costs 5 times as much as buying 1 hamburger. >_>
