that is kinda of vague... is he talking about a jersey shore type of promotion for the gaming house? i wonder what the revenue source is. unless they picked up some big sponsors, i dont see how the team is sustainable.

The long-term goal is to create salaried professionals who become celebrities in the field of professional gaming.

does this mean that the current players are not salaried? Who's paying for a gaming house in San Francisco (fyi very expensive city to live in)?

i realize i sound like a hater, but this business model seems incredible. I do want to see it work though.

Only Poke can speak for Poke.

The team VT will still exist. All the players on the current roster will continue to be supported, barring someone leaving on their own accord or falling into ill-favor with the management. (At least, so far as I've been informed)

For all intensive purposes, Reign is a separate team. Its just funded by the same blanket organization as VT.

This whole thing is basically VT management saying "let's get serious about making a truly competitive house in North America" and doing everything in their power to follow through with that.

Let's face it... for all the talent in the foreigner scene, there's not a single team that's taken a truly legit stab at running a top-tier house. This is a huge opportunity for everyone involved, and, hopefully, can serve as a standard for things to come from other teams in the future.

^^ All that having been said, these are my words, and this is my understanding of the situation. Clearly I do not speak for VT management, or for any of the players involved other than myself.
