Hahaha this is so funny. I was probably one of the kids who yelled "bad commentators, give us HLTV!" on various CS-forums lol.

Never did I know I would grow to love these guys. Thanks for sharing!

No seriously this is weird.

Is this what commentating CS is like? I would never have thought to watch people play a FPS.

Are you trying to troll djWheat?

A close TDM Quake game can be just as exciting to watch and listen to as Starcraft, especially with multiple overtimes. A 4k vs Dignitas TDM final comes to mind, even though it was Quake 4.

Not sure about CS, Halo etc but Quake team play is generally awesome, just a shame it's mainly 1v1's nowadays which is pretty dull imo.

Very Nice,

BUT why in the SC2 forum? Why not in general gaming? Mods can you move this perhaps so it get's a better reception?

I had a bad dream. Don't be afraid, bad dreams are only dreams. What a time you chose to be born in...

Definitely not the best commentating they've done, but a nice bit of nostalgia

this is painful to watch only because it is very clear how clueless they are. as a once avid competitive cs player, they don't give this game justice as they cast.

This is the perfect example that you need more than good casting skills to cast a game really well, you need very good game knowledge and knowledge of the scene. They do know some basic counter-strike I can tell that from the cast but it's obvious that there is alot they don´t know about the game and how to cast it, what different areas on the map are called for example.

Not bad for two SC2 commentators, to be honest if I watched this back when I mostly played CS and hadn´t heard of tastosis I would have flamed these casters for sure(I have known about them as long as they have casted though) :p

They know more than I thought they would. Shame some of the game sounds are a bit odd.

Keep in mind that they're still in BW at this point, and further when you look at their development as casters they've really progressed the most in terms of crispness and ability in the last 8 months than the years before.

I think Artosis has mentioned on SOTG a few times that he's been into CS a bit, so he seems to anchor this cast down to acceptable levels. Seems like Tasteless has less interest.

They seem to have a good sense of how things work, but they're just so bland because there's not nearly as much going on CS as there is in SC. If they knew terminology used in the scene, it'd be a lot better. Really cool seeing my favorite casters commentating the game I came from after years and years of competitive play.

They'd be fine if they new the code-names for the areas on the maps. Things like heaven, catwalk, ivy, etc etc
