That's not so bad, it'll be a walkover or someone from the Open Bracket, both options way better than playing against Bomber.
Then the day of the tournament you walk into the venue and sit down to play some warmups in the booth. You look over and there's already someone in the other booth. He looks Korean. Dde? SeleCT? Who is it? You walk out of your booth and over to the other one. You open the door. "Hello?"
The chair slowly turns around. You see his face, but it can't be. He's not supposed to be here. Not him. Not a Protoss. Not THAT Protoss.
MC says, "Hi Greg, long time no see."
You back slowly out of the booth.
But you can't. It's already forcefielded.

Plagiarism! Read the MLG Columbus preview article
Anyways, best of luck to MC, now he has a chance to redeem his loss to Alicia!

Should be interesting, wonder if thorzain will mop the floor with MC again.

3-2, winning with the same timing push twice then with an immediately nerfed strategy = mopping the floor, while MC was participating in three almost simultaneous tournaments whereas Thorzain only focused 100% on their match. lolol. I'm done trying to argue against the blatant ignorance a lot of people exhibit in this thread, it's like they seriously don't even watch these games and make things up.
Going to be amusing watch foreigners QQ about MC and how protoss is imba when all is said and done.

I will say that the Koreans are probably not as used to playing series against so many vastly different playstyles with no time to prepare. GSL style matches are alot like TSL, but that is NOTHING like MLG. Like MC said at the time, he was slacking for a little bit in PvT, but then realized the MU weakened for him.

Kind of like when Nestea lost to Goody in TSL. The playstyles can be really different, but in the end it's just one series, so it's hard to say who's the better player when it was so close too.

MC is a welcome sight. Too bad about the bomber incident. Oh well, shit happens.
I think Koreans will chew through the NA scene. Players like Idra and Spanishiwa and Incontrol don't stand a chance to players like MC or Nestea or Spirit_Moon.
Either way, looking forward to watching some epicness. Hopefully will have time to watch some of my own teammates get through the brackets.
CHECK 6 FIGHTINGGUUUUUU!!!

Didn't realize moon was coming back out to play. I hope he continues to go to foreign events to own the white dudes and take their prize money.
Goooo mooon :D

You say that as if GSL Open 1,2, 3 and Code A qualifiers never happened. Or hell, Courage for that matter.
Not saying you are totally wrong, MLG is very unique, but it's not like Koreans don't know how to play at a LAN.

Is there anymore MLG Columbus footage? JoshSuth, where are you?! :D
|
Poor bomber. Poor NA players.
|
july in the open bracket... haha
|
What's the story behind MC not being in MLG in the first place? Why is he a "substitute" for Bomber?
|
lol i bet every player that had bomber in their schedule went FFFFFFF
|
Shit, I'd hate to be the guy that gets July in his beginning match. It's like "well I'm probably fucked". Then again, you beat him and you're suddenly a god damn legend.
|
lol watch July and MC be on the same plane together, This time me win MC. No you drone drone I attack I win.

MLG never really said why they picked the players they did. My guess in MC not coming in the first place was him thinking he would still be in the Super Tournament.
