NO VISA

To put it into Starcraft lingo, Visas have a long build time.

I'm way too hyped for this now. Go MC and July!

Unless a foreigner of comparable skill to ThorZain decides to 3-2 MC in a no-lag situation for the first time.
Oh, wait.

Is July going to be fighting through the open bracket or will he be going straight to the championship bracket? Sorry if I this has already been answered but I don't feel like shifting through 15 pages of "Cool!" posts.

I was really sad when it said that Bomber couldn't get on his flight, but now that MC is going to MLG all I can say is HYPE HYPE HYPE! (Oh and also, good luck to Idra, who was so excited when he found out Bomber wasn't in is group, but now it's MC )

Are you basing this on personal bias? Because I think his results speak for themselves. yeah him getting his ass kicked recently really speaks doesnt it? (MC) lol, I agree he has lost a few games but seriously? Ass-kicked? Sounds like personal bias to me. ofc im biased, obviously im stating my opinion, not fact, idk what you are trying to get across.. are you dense? you understand anything posted in the manner i stated it is in fact bias.. as would anything you say counter to my arguement.. please tell me what you are trying to argue. That is all you had to say. haha, I love internet tough guys How am I an internet tough guy? am i threatening to beat you up or something? rofl, just because I only stated one thing doesnt mean that i dont have more reasoning behind my statement. You cant deny that MC is in a bit of a slump with his recent results regardless of if hes won previous foreign lans, this isnt the same foreign lan, not to mention there are other koreans coming as well as better competition now (the scene has been growing fast in the foreign scene imo) MC losing a PvP to Alicia and losing to Polt because of greedy build order losses has nothing to do with slumping, those are a couple bo3's. What has Losira done in comparison? MMA? Lol Moon? The only Korean currently "not slumping" is Nestea who had an easy run in the last GSL and just beat a lackluster Bomber in Ro32 after almost losing to Cezanne in the Ro64. So how does your original statement of "I would be more worried about most of the other koreans" work? MMA is still in Code A after losing to a protoss 2-0 worse than MC, Losira didn't get far into the Super Tournament either, and Bomber just got beaten 2-0 by Nestea. as stated before its all personal opinion, i never said hes bad, but hes certainly not the best out there. If you really are bored, you can look i up, i have stated this in the past for example in LR when he lost to polt, that wasnt just a bad BO loss that was him being inflexible, which imo is his fatal flaw, he has a couple strats in mind and isnt really about mixing it up but working with that strat that he has down.. but yeah thats why i find other players to be better than him, not that hes bad, and he can certainly get better but he seems to be at his pinnacle and the "fresh blood" so to speak is on its way in and will continue to come in over the next couple months.
Really though there is no clear cut player that is the best, and again dont take my critique of MC to say that he is a bad player... i haven't said that and wont be stating that, i just feel that there are many more players with more potential and also (obviously going into OPINION REALM HERE) are already better players as a whole, this does include MMA btw, hes got alot of potential imo with such good teamates / coaches to work with, hell the whole team is oozing potential, from what i've seen they are the first completely serious team.

Cool, one excellent player that prepared only for that match for weeks won a close series 3-2 verses MC (the last game with a strat that was immediately nerfed lulz). He will still smash foreigners with no delay. Maybe he wouldn't smash Thorzain but it would still be close, and he now knows Thorzain's playstyle after losing to the same 2-2 timing push twice.
I guess we'll see how MC does at MLG.

That's gonna be so much fun, when July has to play 700 Bo3s, while the other 4 koreans are all seeded and take a bath in the sun.
"Coach, why don't they have to play as much as me?" - "You are the god of war, you need to kill many more americans, the others are not worthy."

How is this even fair now LOL. Hope people have something under their sleeves.

woot woot - looking so forward to this

Was gonna reply to that post but ur post pretty much summed up my opinion. Going to add that MC has GSL to practice in mind (even if it was offseason or he was eliminated) and more important during that time DreamHack so he could careless about Thorzain (as in not that focused on that particular match).

Nope, both on EU server shortly after MC's dreamhack win.
Don't get me wrong, MC's awesome and he's gonna crush a lot of foreign nerd's dreams.
But it's kind of derpy to assume he'll crush every single foreigner after several great-but-not-the-best foreigners have beaten him or almost beaten him in same-server games or series.
