Also rememeber that he started out waaaay later than any of the current ex-Wc3 pros who're on the top did.

He 2-0'd Demuslim, Tarson and Nerchio in a recent ESL event. That's not to say his NASL results haven't been disappointing, but it's not like he's not accomplishing anything at all...

I consider the criticisms Grubby receives for his NASL performance are almost good for him as they will make it look even more impressive when he puts in a good performance at a LAN event.
|
Give us a break, he`s almost zero in SC2 tourneys. I really don`t understand all this fus about Grubby, compared to other players that switched to SC2.
|
How about you list his sc2 achievements being as it is an sc2 forum an all...

Also to all the critics, to the LANs that he showed up at, he does decently. His NASL performance is not that great, but he has a lot of 1-2's, while they are still losses, don't blame him on just that. I get the feeling that because he hasn't played a lot of tournaments yet, people just rate him for his NASL performance because it's a big league. He's been doing decent in ESL Euro cups so yeah, Grubby fighting !

i have faith in the grubster.
grubby atm has flaws in his game but he practices a lot so those flaws will soon be ironed out.
also he is very very innovative which makes him very dangerous

I hate you. All you fanboys, I hate all of you Grubby fanboys. Every thread with Grubby games in it is just like "give him more time", "wait for him to get used to SC2" etc. It sounds like he just picked up the game, whereas he is playing since 10 months now. Get it over with. But then, I am becoming a Grubby-fanboy myself! At first I disliked him because he is A) Dutch (German dibs, sorry) and B) an ex-WC3-player (BW dibs, sorry), but the more I see of him the more I cheer for him. Leaving EG gave him a gazillon sympathy-points from me, and after his cool, intelligent, funny and well-spoken commentary at the Copenhagen Games, I totally fell for him. Plus, I like his unorthodox playstyle, which is most present in base-trade situations, when he forces his opponent to fail at multitasking properly. Go Grubby! :D

I wonder what WarCraft3 tournament results have to do with the eligibilty for commenting on a play schedule.

Grubby's a laughing stock right now. He needs to step is game up. From what I've observed, his macro and overall strategy are his biggest weaknesses.

I have a lot of respect for Grubby: picks Orcs, then picks Protoss.

Which many wc3 players are doing so well? Moon is average. I don't remember Lyn's results but I doubt it is all that amazing. I'd say he is the weakest of the best wc3 players that have switched to sc2 but I wouldn't say the others are doing amazingly well.

Sometimes he shows some great things and then end up losing anyway bad decision and poor army management most of the time.

ThorZaIN, Kas, Naniwa, KiWiKaKi are the big 4. I can think of dozens of others who are close.

Someone should summarize the Grubby-Moon rivalry. Apparently a lot of Korean tears were shed over not being able to win WC3 tourneys or something but I don't know the story at all.

Wasn't orc WIDELY regarded as the weakest race for years, I recall grubby taking out moon in wcg2004 (Dont quote me) Where he surrounded moons DH with 4 grunts, wasn't that when NE were so imba .. it was starting to ruin wc3?
