He did finnish 3rd at copenhagen games for example, now im not saying that he deserves the hype, but the nasl results are far from accurate of what would happen at a lan.

Ignoring NASL and online tournament results because of 'cross region play' is insulting to those who perform well in them. Yeah LAN is where it truly matters but 0-6 in 6 Bo3 with bad latency or not, is really really bad. To the OP, it's a very well contructed tribute to a legend though it feels more like it belongs in his fanclub.

Yeah would have probably been better to post this into the fanclub thread, but wanted to introduce him to the ppl in the community which dont have a wc3 background.

Since ur naniwa i almost cant argue you, but is it really that bad? I know that grubby is always online at 12-1 am since ive been following him closely. I also play high masters in EU and US server and dont notice big differences in latency. (i have an average internet connection in the netherlands.)

Grubby himself stated that the delay to US is pretty bad. Personally i think that his NASL results dont show the real truth as Grubby is pretty decent already, beating some really good players and he will get even better for sure.

To the OP, it's a very well contructed tribute to a legend though it feels more like it belongs in his fanclub. In similar fashion, ignorning everything else and only focussing on NASL is insulting to where he performed well. He also swapped not too long ago lets not forget. I think mid january? thats about 5 months. Big difference compared to his competition. Old broodwar players who have been playing sc2 since beta. And for the NASL the majority has won or been in the finals of major events. So to say that because he isn't getting wins over people like this is very malicious and reeks of envy or jealousy of sorts. He has to catch up still and these are some of the world class players. It's like when I heard people say IdrA hasn't accomplished much because they neglect the fact that he's been the most consistent foreigner in Korea. And only when he wins the GSL will he not be a failure. That's just absurd and I feel that trend of reasoning falls into this category. As for the self promoting comment of the first poster in the qoutes. I don't even get why you would say it like that. I don't know who neverplay is but I don't think he's Grubby? So accusing him as doing such is also inappropriate. Just take your time, I think people are afraid of what is going to come. Maybe I just believe in Grubby's future. He sure knows how to improve and become a top notch player, so lets give him the time he needs and see what he is able to do before judging him. Eitherway I know that I have read about him in the paper before I even knew about this the world of competitive gaming and what it is like. So yes, he'll always have a special place even thought I didn't follow wc3. But reading comments like these I find it hard to not get a bit upset. It's like throwing paint on a painting that is half done because it doesn't look good yet. Let the painter finish the painting before you decide if you like it or not. In digital images I believe one is made up of multiple layers of chroma? That are just black and grey, and it's the final step that combines all the layers and mixes it so that it becomes something we would call a picture.

The time spent playing the game is what has happened. Between Moon, Lyn, Grubby and Naniwa, Naniwa has most likely played a lot more considering moon and lyn are still practicing wc3 afaik and Grubby switched almost a year later than the players that started in beta. It's nothing wierd going on here.

Yes , also laughing really hard at the "witty" comments people who he had on farm status made :D But i feel nani's choice from ud to Protoss was wise ![]() edit: also grubby was raping faces even before the blademaster was even viable ( ww buff ) and far seer was the standart play , also orc was considered the weak race , since the race you were playing nani was doing just ifne in the face of the korean undead
