Looser talk right there. Was really hoping it would be a World Team with various top performing members vs the koreans
If they do even moderately well, or for whatever reason prove to be popular-ish in the Korean SC2 scene, this might make some other foreign teams consider taking advantage of any such opportunities in the future.

Can't wait. Gonna be awesome. Will be interesting if they can do the mercenary players like the Korean players can. For example mlg winners and naniwa
And besides at the worst they can still beat zenex so they so they hopefully won't come last.

btw, is slog the old [pg]slog4?

:D Awesome, but only Sheth and pxc and real world class players on that team. The rest are real, real good, but not at a GSL level imo

Which team, though?
The only team out of the 10 that hasn't been in the GSTL is Ho Seo, but there was a video a few days ago and they had 10/11 guys.

I wish FXO the best but I am afraid that they wont have much of a chance.

IMO all the hate is just bandwagoning from people who don't watch enough sc2 to know whos good. FXO is such a good team, I honestly don't know too much about the SEA players sans mOOnGLaDE but Sheth, Moonan, and QXC are enough to make me giddy. I mean the chance to see Sheth's happy ass smiling at me from a booth is enough to keep me up for team league by itself.

Ok, I know we're in the teamliquid site, but the only team I would love to see at the GSTL was TeamLiquid. TLO, HayPro, Huk, Ret, Tyler, Jinro? Come on...!!

FXOpen doing fantastic things for sc2

If they do moderately well, i bet everyone will say how weak the korean teams are... i mean FXO isn't even top3 outside of korea. I know it would be foolish, but i'm pretty sure that's going to happen (if it happens, which i doubt ^_^)

Also, I imagine any team that lacked 1-2 members could just enlist Huk/Jinro as mercenaries rather than give up their spot in GSTL.

HoSeo, which has always made the question of why they'd be going to 10 an interesting issue.

i have a feeling theyre just gonna get all killed by some unknown scrub from slayers ogs or IM. probably EG or dignitas would be able to even compete with the korean teams

I didn't dig into it, because it was a bit last minute and I had to find flights / support for us to go to GSTL... I am paying for the initial investment on my own debit card.. The processes of getting such funding are too slow to get this done in time.
Our members will start arriving in seoul on the 11th..

Holy..! This is very big! Man I hope FXO gets deep into the tournament! And I really hope GLaDe gets back in full shape to join his mates! :D Big news, FXO FIGHTING! ^^
|
This is great for two reasons: FXO gets huge exposure "Hey world, we're an awesome company who is willing to fly out our entire team to a foreign country to compete." and the players will have a great experience and hopefully being together will inspire all of them to really lift their games to the level that's going to be expected of them.
I expect nothing but great things. Going to have to root on Tgun as a fellow Australian and Zerg player though. Go tgun!

Unless things changed drastically for one of the established teams that participated in earlier team leagues, the only team that should not have enough members is WeMadeFox and they're not included in the 11 count.
I think the league will simply start with 11 teams, one group of 5, one group of 6. Shouldn't be a problem. But I suppose we'll see sooner or later anyway.
