this was a very interesting interview, thanks for that. I hope the foreigners do indeed take the invite. Code A can be rough, but after Colombus there'll be code S stuff too.

This is so exciting. It feels the old PRIDE vs UFC days, except they're working together. I can't help but feel like the foreigners who get to go over to the GSL will be like Chuck Liddell during the 2003 PRIDE MW Grand Prix. I can't wait to see SC2 grow with MLG and GSL leading the way!

Nice read. I'm really looking forward to MLG Colombus now! Now matter what, there should be some awesome game! And the biggest winner with this program is really us the spectators since we get those matches between foreigners and koreans we all love!

It is awesome to watch two nations come together in such a way without pride or selfishness involved. You can tell Korea truly loves the game above ALL else by globalizing, when they already have the most competitive and reputable tournament in existence. Thank God that GomTV is in the driver seat and not Kespa or opportunities like this may not have been available.

The exchange is just heavily favored for koreans as stated previously, we get a chance to compete in code A while they get seeded into the championship pool.. thats literally like day and night.

I believe a vast majority of the foreigners will decline any code A invitation because they have nothing to gain being in korea competing for a small prize VS missing all the big foreign tournaments and leagues that are going on right now and will continue throughout the year.

god i cant wait to see this next mlg, with these new changes im surely going to buy an hd pass! Cant wait :D this league exchange program is so exciting, also i could see a cross league championship in the future with the top 16 players from each league competing for a huge prize (2 huge corporations funding the prize pool = huge) i bet we will hear something like this out of them very soon :D

Playing on the Korean ladder lag-free can be a pretty nice perk for participating in Code A. Considering that Korean players usually have crisper timings, riskier plays, and cutting-edge builds, a foreigner has a lot to gain from grinding on the Korean ladder against better players.
