good interview and this exchange will be real dope. Hopefully any future kinks gets worked out and all is good. So looking forward to seeing how his develops. huge props to MLG and GSL for doing something like this.

regarding casters coming to mlg from korea I dont really care wether it's tastosis or doa/moletrap. Either which will be great, I'm getting really hyped for MLG Columbus.

My head will explode if they send tasteless and artosis. For me thats way, way, bigger then player exchange because your commentators is a bigger part of your own brand

Nope.

Wouldnt there be more sense in bringing korean commentators then?

Last MLG commentating was just fine, why change that? (assuming they want to commentate again after that event :p)

For all the wrongs they did at dallas, MLG seems to be doing 2x as right at colombus!

Besides having poor internet (which was beyond their control), what did they do wrong at Dallas?

Tastosis at MLG, Make it happen!

Quite a few things if you were at the event. Initially, the players hearing commentators and game sounds. Not being able to hear the commentators and having virtually no game sound while having to listen to Halo the whole time was unacceptable. The amount of games you were actually able to watch comfortably at the event were minimal besides trying to stand behind someones computer or sitting on the floor and looking up at a screen. The scheduling and amount of time between matches was way too long for the players and spectators. There were also not many vendors and not many things to do during the downtime in which there was a lot of it. Personally I had a good time at Dallas overall, day 3 almost made up for it and I plan on going again despite these issues unless they are not addressed in upcoming MLG's.

Awesome interview, thanks for posting.

Personally i cant wait for seeing what this partnership brings to each league, we have an exciting few months ahead of us, especially with the BW progamer contracts beeing re-signed this fall. We might have a few new BW pros joining the sc2 scene!

No questions about MLG killing off GotFrag, which Lee used to be the big boss off? Pretty disappointing.

I think a better solution to the whole Code A =/= to MLG championship bracket would be to directly inject the foreign players into the Up/down matches like IEM did?? that way players decide for themselves if they are worthy of winning the big money in Code S and if they lose they still have a spot in Code A if they choose to stay. Seems most fair imo cause $5,000 dollars (and seeding for later events if chosen) for 2 days of play is not = to a month for about $1500(?)(and a chance to play for seeding).

Plott brothers + Artosis casting would be amazing D: . Great Interview.

That would be amazing. I really hope they're not hyping Columbus too much, it HAS to be perfect now.

Another thing to consider is that the next code A season will be taking place during the summer break. Many people in high school and college will probably have a much easier time going now as opposed to some other time in the year.

Very unspecific general answer about the steam quality - not impressed.

I want to see 'Dallas stream was very bad quality with alot of lag - we have focused our team on reversing this for Colombus and the remaining MLG tour - This had been our top priority - after all , the stream is where ppl can actually view the games'

*sigh*

I call for Tastosis[9] !

Seems to me like a good overall format evolution for both leagues, I'm pumped for colombus !

Don't worry: we have an announcement coming in the next week or so that will detail everything we've done to fix the streaming issues that were prevalent in Dallas.

Lee just can't say much on it until we make our announcement, that's all. We all know how important the stream is and we've taken major strides to ensure something like that doesn't happen again.
