I mean, their creativity is very entertaining but in the end their level isn't just high enough. No need to mention Stephano, whos just the best foreign zerg imo. So yeah, even though Idra, sheth, qxc are top foreign players I don't think they that the overall level reaches the french top 5. And yes my opinion is biased cause im french :} You're really citing Adelscott vs IMMvp as a piece of evidence? Those games, like most of TSL3, were played with horrendous lag. Don't you remember the Genius lagfields? Or Mvp, arguably the best Korean terran, losing a reaper to a probe surround? Or him missing entire cycles when hes kiting his bio army? If Adelscott played Mvp right now, he wouldn't win a single game out of ten.

IdrA, HuK (Also Canadian), Sheth and Gatored ( I think if this guy was picked up by a big team, he would shine; I love you gatored). Sweden also has a very strong lineup with Nani, Sase, Thorzain and Morrow. What about the guy who all killed IM?

We've seen so many foreigners go to Korea only to have a short lived career. Even the international TLPD is littered with code S and code A players and the foreigners that manged to squeeze into top 40 only have raised ELO because they were beating other foreigners and the occasional Korean but haven't won anything in a while. Korea's >decade of professional BW competition is probably the biggest factor. Barely any foreigners could afford to even get to Korea before the exchange program. Looking at how insanely huge the foreign community has grown since the release of Starcraft 2 I'd say It's only a matter of time before we see a non-K GSL champion, the 2012 prophecy comes to mind :D On December 31 2011 08:51 Belki wrote: USA so overhyped! Huk claims that he is canadian first even if he is American too so we can't count him in the US team. You know, Zidane is also algerian, but he was competing for France and Algerians didn't say that he could play for their team.

So we should be thinking of this in terms of who has the 5 best players. In such a case, I think Sweden wins. naniwa, Thorzain, Sase, Morrow, Jinro I feel like there is another Swedish heavy hitter I am missing, but I do think that Sweden has the strongest 5 man team. Ukraine and Germany are of course also really strong countries, but they don't have as strong of a 5 man team. GSTL is winners league, so the teams with the best aces would win - the bo's I was referring to were proleague style.

AFAIK everytime he's asked he considers himself half and half.

Sweden has a strongest Top 5 in total... So I think comes down to what the match was. Pokemon style, I'd take Canada. If it was set matchups, Sweden.
