The most exciting thing ToD's ever done is beat Alicia twice in prepatch PvP -.- All he has is his stellar PvP... all of his other match ups are subpar... even his crazy 3:2 win against Nerchio was a pretty bad series... I know you said discuss nicely... but... Oh, and putting Stephano as a (10) on your list is just begging for a shitstorm... Adelscott has no major tournament wins versus any equal or greater caliber player in 2011 in my opinion... maybe a PvP or two, but nothing else. Please, if you don't want a crazy argument over this player is better than that player, base your point system on something, rather than leaving it ambiguous... for all we know you could be basing their scores on their looks! Also... what criterion do you use for "Top 3 Foreign players"? HuK is almost a given seeing as he's been in recent GSL for a while now and has consistently great tournament results, but Naniwa and Stephano are pretty debatable... ToD is in Fnatic, not Millenium.... And yes ToD is probably a little worse than SaSe but I'm pretty sure hes at least as good as WhiteRa and HasuObs. Also when talking about top foreigner HuK etc. you have to consider that players like HuK literally attend every foreign event because of their team. I'm sure if other great players had the chance to go to many events they would have similiar results. Also theres a huge difference between performance at events and performance in practice, some players are beasts on ladder and when they practice but just can't perform very well in tournaments for various reasons, but this will change over time.

QXC Tyler Gatored Kawiirice Axslav All of team Vile, It's Gosu, most of EG etc etc. I don't think any other country has a roster quite as deep as ours. So we'd lose Winners League to Canada, Sweden or France, but we'd beat France in proleague bo5, beat Canada bo7 and beat Sweden bo11 or so. Anyway, it's really hard to measure.

I think the most proper way to assess country dominance would be "If all countries got to send a 5 man team to the GTSL, which team would win?", since GTSL and IPL team arena are both 5 man, right? So we should be thinking of this in terms of who has the 5 best players. In such a case, I think Sweden wins. naniwa, Thorzain, Sase, Morrow, Jinro I feel like there is another Swedish heavy hitter I am missing, but I do think that Sweden has the strongest 5 man team. Ukraine and Germany are of course also really strong countries, but they don't have as strong of a 5 man team.

At the end of the day not many of our pros actually harvest any results.

Plus players like spanishiwa and destiny, who revolutionize the game. Well, destiny and spanishiwa wouldn't stand a chance agaisnt players such as Adel, who beat IMMvp or SarenS who beat Sen in one of the most macro and multitask oriented bo3 ive seen and also faced IdrA in the finals of one the first IEM. I mean, their creativity is very entertaining but in the end their level isn't just high enough. No need to mention Stephano, whos just the best foreign zerg imo. So yeah, even though Idra, sheth, qxc are top foreign players I don't think they that the overall level reaches the french top 5. And yes my opinion is biased cause im french :}

2. Ukraine (WhiteRa, Dimaga, Kas, Strelok) 3. USA (Idra, Sheth etc.) That is how it goes, I think.
