Actually that might be Taiwan with their professional league teams, they'll be getting structured practice and TV experience and the scene is almost guaranteed to grow and become far stronger if the league survives. Unless we get something comparable the rest of the foreign world will lag behind.

Ukraine got the 3 beasts from the east which all preforms really really good. Kas Dimaga and White-Ra. Then we got NA which has many really good players but some which stands out more are Idra Huk and Kiwikaki. Germany got so much potential with Socke HasuObs Goody TLO and Mondragon and many more which all are aspiring pros. Germany will really be a force to be reckoned with once they gain some ground. Sweden got some really nice Terrans with Sjow ThorZaIN and Jinro which all are really dominant throw in MorroW and Naniwa (I would love to throw Haypro in there but he's really under preforming atm which is really sad) and we have the top nations team only to be beaten by the korean one. With the release in china and players always developing one could only speculate which is the best sc2 nation and even if one nation would win a nation cup I'm sure another nation soon would take over the title.

If China can make DotA a super serious game with bunchloads of cash and player transfers for like 5k$ per player etc imagine what they can do with Sc2!

There are quite a few good french canadian players as well as quite a few in the top 200 from vancouver. Wannabe, stalife, drewbie (vancouver island), firezerg, REQCHEUBC, Masterasia, Vader(he may or may not be from van). Not all of these players are particularily notable but they all reside in the top 200 (or have for a while) and they are all from one city wich is pretty impressive. Of course there is DDE TT1 Slush Kiwi DDoro IefNaijas more notable players in different parts of canada. There is a few other players that are on the tip of my toungue cant quite remember.

If you were to play USA vs Sweden and keep going until one team can no longer field a decent player I'd be willing to bet that Sweden would run out of players before the USA. Sure, Sweden can probably field a better 4-5 player team, but if you kept throwing the USA GM players at them they'd eventually lose because beyond the top few players it's hard to name anybody capable of winning games at that level. It's like comparing something like USA vs Jamaica in athletics. Sure, Jamaica has the biggest superstar with Usain Bolt, but the USA has such a huge number of medal winning athletes that you just have to say that they have a better lineup overall. Of course it's all opinion and down to how you want to set restrictions. I'm simply saying that in terms of numbers of players capable of winning games, USA probably has more. If you're looking for the best 4-person team, it could be different. Wouldnt like China or India just crush everything then...

If it was like that, one player to rank a countrys leadership in the world, wouldnt players like Elky or Grrr make their countries the greatest? or was it, only for a period of time during bw? Have faith and stop bashing just cuz you dont feel the same, but atm its quite the same between ukraine/sweden/canada/germany. I cant really place USA with its players here just due to lack of news, tournament wins and PR outside of US.
