it does look like zerg will have a couple month period where they will be considered op, or at least winning everything.
however that will quickly go away when protoss realizes they have hard counters for every unit zerg has and can win games despite being behind economically for the entire thing.
terrans though, a lot of people are having trouble with late game tvz and I'm not sure if it's because they are still relying on marines at the 30 minute mark, or what.

Because to him, accomplishments are all about how well he does with Zerg when they are on the scale of really really really really horrible to just kinda bad. Obviously during the GSL they were just kinda bad and in MLG they were really really really really horrible.

IIRC in an interview with a bunch of the oGs house members, everyone besides MC said that Zerg was the weakest.

Because to get GSL Top 8 you need to literally only win 2 group stages (they had Ro16 groups back then as well) in Bo1s. And, at the time IdrA was confident he could win, and get very far... at MLG Dallas he was expecting to get destroyed because he felt so underpowered.

Every player will think their own race is terrible.. that's a given. But all the Terrans will think that Terran and Zerg are both weak, and all the Protoss will think that Protoss and Zerg are both weak. See the pattern?
