Oh well guess I will stick with good old trusty SOTG. Not impressed. Sometimes this stuff happens man. You can't really put all the blame on WHEAT, that dude works hard as hell for the community. Tune in next time~

Entitled much? | ||

Still, this is becoming a trend. There have been several cancellation's and it seems that someone is always missing from the cast. Nobody's fault I think, but kind of dissapointing.

Oh well guess I will stick with good old trusty SOTG. Not impressed. You know what I'm not impressed with? People letting one simple thing "ruin" an experience for them. I'm not impressed that you didn't listen to the previous episode to find out if what the hosts said on the show was accurate about MLG. I'm not impressed that people deliver an enormous amount of content to the community, yet this is the kind of unappreciative bullshit we encounter. I'm not impressed that you didn't give SOTG the same heat when they too have missed episodes for similar instances. This is the busiest time of the year (for events). I had a 12 hour travel day the day before with my family in tow, AND so did all the hosts of the show... if only you had any idea just what kind of a toll that takes on a person (not to mention the 15 hour casting days for 3 days). You're lazy, and you're spoiled.

Nobody's fault I think, but kind of dissapointing. And we're on Episode 11. If you think we haven't discussed these issues on the back end you're mistaken. But we also can't make a ton of knee-jerk reactions just because we're in the middle of the LAN SEASON for the year. I don't like to cancel a show either. So we've talked about, getting the crew mobile setups, having "stand-ins" available if one of the players cannot make it, etc. All things that would potentially prevent some of these problems. But when you have an entire hosting crew who is frequently at the same events, you have to expect that scheduling will be an issue. All we can do is attempt to eliminate as many unknowns as possible. And even put my own reasons aside, Geoff and Greg have also been in the process of moving to the new EG house for quite awhile... so their situation hasn't been constant.

You're still taking the trolls way too seriously djWHEAT. If he wants to bemoan the fact that ITG didn't take place last Tuesday and stick with SOTG, that's his prerogative. He can sit in front of his computer and be unimpressed with as much as he likes. It is not incumbent on you to rant at him, or conclude that he is "lazy" and "spoiled," as a result. Defensiveness is not an effective forum-posting strategy, from my limited experience. Anywho, here's to a good show tonight.

Can it be a disappointment when a show you want to watch isn't on sure, but I'd like to think the majority of people realize that shit happens and sometimes it's just not possible. It's only the small minority that will immediately flame you when they don't get what they want. I always liked this louis ck bit as a good example of how people are ridiculous.

The work that goes on behind the scenes to create a show like ITG or SotG is incredibly time-consuming and it's obviously a labor of love for him. Wheat's done more for this community than you ever will, so support him!

They are not representative of what the rest of us think. And by the rest of us, I mean the non-vocal majority who love your show and appreciate everything you do for the community. For every troll who comes in here and complains, you can be sure there are 10x as many who feel the opposite. Anyway, looking forward to the next show!
