I have what I think is a simple solution to fix onemoregame.tv's current issues. Please make people like hashbaz, frosthaze, and fabozi official interns to omg.tv. They already do the work to give us MP3's every week and are often the ones to inform the community on the boards when there will not be a show.
Give them access to the site and power to update the official thread on teamliquid. I don't want to speak for them, but I'm sure some cool swag like headsets, keyboards, or mousepads from OMG's sponsors would be a nice gesture to keep them motivated. Hell they seem like nice enough guys they would probably do this for free. If it wasn't for their effort every week I would never listen to any of OMG's shows.

When it is really easy to update a OP on TL and let everyone know that the show is canceled, yes, he should just edit the OP.
On the other hand it isn't the end of the fucking world if he doesn't, so everyone should stop bitching.
Either way people are way too invested in this, and the one person who should be a tad bit more invested could update that OP more than once a year

There's a difference between that situation and the one where he used to have a non-esports fulltime job and do these shows with his spare time.

Only problem with this is what you think his job with Twitch.tv is. You think he is some kind of caster/spokesperson but he talked about it before he is actually there as a network manager. He just works remotely from his home so its a real job where he has to be a lot of hours etc into and not a about sc2/streaming job.

I like that these shows are casual. It's not TV, or even radio. Would it be better if Wheat fixed the mp3 feed and consistently posted the show's schedule someplace other than twitter? Sure. But it's not something to get pissed about. You could argue that "inside the game" is the starcraft 2 version of "NFL live" a show that happens at the same time daily. So a schedule and a consistent update of epsoides in this thread would be great. Now with that said. Wheat gets his shows done he rarely misses a show, and I think he deserves a vacation, because every other job gets at least 2 weeks off. Those shows also have production crews. All DJWheat has is miniWheat and he is not the age for character-building-tasks yet. These shows are a ton of work and the man can get sick. And the whole "why should I check twitter" argument is dumb. Which service is easier and better for reaching the largest group of people while sick and can be easily updated from your phone? Twitter.
But that's the point. I loathe twitter as a main communications channel. It is impossible to archive, search and organize. For everything live it's good. Match tickers, wonderful. Looking whether JP or Marcus have possibly said something about their shows in the last several days? Horrible.
There are already things for that: the OP, the TL calendar. I know social is cool shit and stuff, but there are still people that are not 24/7 online and following each of your tweets and instagram pictures and facebook updates and foursquare check-ins all the time. It is even much more convenient for show hosts in the long run. Just say once and for all "Read the OP", or "Check TL calendar". No more second-guessing, no more confusion about time zones.

I feel we complain about anything sometimes.............. I am sure Wheat is always looking to improve ways to keep people updated on whats going on. And while I agree Twitter should not be the only way to say this is when a new show is or something. Day9 also uses twitter to say when he is going on and no one complains about that. But then again Day9's new site does have a timer till the next show.

By any chance do you or someone else do this kinda thing for SOTG? I notice a lot of the episodes now can't be downloaded anymore in mp3 format.

Is there an Inside the Game tonight as the calendar shows LO3...did inside the game get permanently canceled? Its not very clear from the OP, the OMG.tv site, or the last 2 pages of forum chatter.

Tonight's @LiveOnThree is focused on SC2 with much more on Naniwa's situation. Tomorrow is QuakeCon, SBO, ECC LoL and Na'Vi DotA2
To make up for last week, we're going back-to-back starting tonight Live at 7 PM EST/01:00 CET with WCS Sweden Champion

There is a show tonight (7PM EST). I've read through some of your concerns and I agree with most of them. I'm currently in a transition phase which I hope will let me focus a bit more on some of the major problems you point out.
I just thanks for expressing them so I can do something about it.
Appreciation.
