Then two days later, on another of DjWheat's shows on he makes comments like "Well anytime someone calls in and starts with, have you heard of Destiny's new build.......*laughs*" and disregards the build because of who it came from.....I have been a long time Incontrol fan but come one dude, you said two days ago to him that you have respect for him. And no, I've watched destiny a couple of times I'm not a fanboy.

I feel that Painuser should now be dropped from the show, I think it's great that he's with IGN now, I really do, but isn't the point of the show to have wheat the caster along with 3 progamers, one from each race? He obviously doesn't want to compete anymore, and just leaving NASL with games remaining (totally wrecks other people in his division by giving free wins) makes it kind of awkward with Incontrol there doesn't it? Now all questions to Painuser are going to be answered with "well back in the day with my 1+ year of SC II experience I would..."? Painuser sounds really smart when he talks and he brings a different perspective to things. I think that if they got him talking more on the show you may like him more. Day9 doesn't compete but he is still on state of the game, Painuser really does seem to know a lot about starcraft too, so give him a chance. ![]()

He was blatantly honest and unapologetic about the fact that he was stream ghosting, proceeded to proxy gate rush which failed, then built a secret base and eventually crushed trump with a stalker/collosus/phoenix build. Combat was verbally abusive and bulgar the entire match without any provocation from Trum, one of the nicest and mannered sc2 player there is. A win against Combat must be like the biggest euphoric high outside of winning a grand and prestigious tournament. He is quite the piece of work.

He never made any comments about why it was bad, just that it was a Destiny build so obviously reddit was over exaggerating it. There was also a thread on TL about it http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=224227 that discussed the build, so it wasn't just discussed on Reddit.

Also, is there any further information on him withdrawing from his NASL games? Haven't seen any NASL for the last week or so. If he is indeed retiring, that's a shame, as there currently isn't a plethora of solid American Terrans in my opinion. QXC is also winless at the NASL, and I feel that most people wouldn't question his ability to compete. If it is true, and the NASL showing is a primary reason, that's unfortunate. Just looking for some confirmation from a forum thread, quote, vod, etc.

I'm doing my degree in theoretical physics, and i read Idra was going to do one too before he went to korea. I'm just wondering if for some reason he was no longer be able to progame would he return to physics or do something else? The essence of the question is: is there life beyond starcraft progaming career wise

Would not have guessed Idra to be a physics guy. I would like to hear an answer to this as well.

Thanks for looking it up. Honestly, I feel like although he said that casting and working for IGN was going to become his job, he also said he loves playing "a little more" and that he was going to try to do both for as long as possible. At least until he has to make a decision one way or the other. Maybe he made the decision more recently and I missed it?

Many top players didn't "come up" with builds they popularized, they did simply that, make them popular. I did a nexus cancel timing push in beta, I don't rage when people call it the MC build. Also, it's wrong to say destiny isn't a professional player. He meets most, if not all of the pro gamer criteria. Playing sc2 is his job and his primary source of income. He has won money from playing the game competitively through show matches and smaller tournaments and he is also on the roster on one of the top teams in NA. He is a pro. Unless you're implying he lacks professionalism, if this is the case, ignore the last part - because I think we all agree.
