This brings variety to gameplay on maps, and makes the expanding patterns less predictable. About chat channels and shared replays - I have a new weird theory that Blizzard may want to have less traffic on Bnet 2.0, because it has enormous total amount of people compared to Bnet 1.0. Sounds like a very shitty reason, and they already maintain the games of all these people, but perhaps they can't maintain the games + all their chats and shared replays. So they make chats in a way that never attracts many people. Sounds weird, I know, but I can't come up with a better reason. | ||
