You can't do that in a non aggressive way, and the passiveness was due to him trying to make the question less harmful, quit acting like r4pture was trying to start a fight and GROW SOME BALLS. you can ask that question without even addressing demuslim, but he chose to inappropriately point out demuslim's 9-12 place finish to express his point. It was a prime example due to his presence on the show, they were too touchy and obviously r4pture had honest intentions trying to congratulate demuslim at the same time, to be raged at like that without even finishing while ALL FOUR members of the cast where ignorant to his points is bullshit. well, he was a guest on the show. normally when i am a guest in someone's house, i don't take the opportunity to take a shit on their sofa. So? Where else can you make an opinion public here. Certainly not on the forums, you will either be banned or nobody will see it. if you get banned or nobody sees your thread/post, maybe it wasn't a good opinion in the first place. No my entire point is the community has grown soft and can't take self-criticism, this is the problem in r4pture's case, they ban/warn here for calling a player bad, even if they are. That logic is also retarded, numerous times people have been punished for VERY noble deeds. Martin Luther King Jr., for example was jailed several times for his opinion. r4pture, the internet's MLK. lol.

Really? I used that example to say that the community punishes people even if they are not necessarily in the wrong, the MLK example wasn't even directly related to r4pture.

Obviously, and I'm saying that's wrong, a kick in the ass is needed sometimes.

Guys, all I want to do is public apologize. Thats all. I never meant for this to happen and I NEVER meant ot insult anyone. I came off wrong because I was nervous, and even while being attacked by some, I'd still like to apologize.
|
Well I'll say one thing about this... I tuned in for the first time to listen to what I believe is the equivelant to radio sports talk, meaning opinions, discussions, disagreements, jokes, etc... but not what happened. Regardless of the way the caller presented himself (at least a little passive agressive with his 9-12 place finish), he had a valid question. Now what they could have done is let him finish/make a fool of himself if they think his point is so stupid, and then respond (without running him into the ground) with a "No DeMuslim beat Nestea, he made it higher than expected beating people no one really thought he would. So yes we should be celebrating how well he did blah blah blah." Instead we get a childish rant from the host of the show in a totally unprofessional manner. I had a lot of respect for djWHEAT but now I don't know. If e-sports is really to become a professional sport and this is our representation. Just as the caller had to know he could get told he was wrong having an open call by djWHEAT is also asking for trolls and questions you're not going to like or want to hear. This has been disappointing to watch as a huge fan of e-sports.

Calm down. No one even cares. The internet is serious business. It's going to be forgotten in 15 minutes.

At this rate there's no way we are getting a Code S finals preview. Disappointing.

If you apologize, then they should apologize, too. Even though you may have been a little passive-aggressive, you had an ABSOLUTELY valid question that they did not answer at all and if they were 100% professional hosts they would have found a way to answer your question even if you wanted to insult someone (Not saying you did). Well it is not a perfect world and they are not perfect TV hosts. And we all like them. However, they still should apologize to you. (Wheat in particular)

Given that you're some random dude and no one know who the fuck you are, you had a little moment where you were stupid in public...probably the best thing for you to do is shut up, say nothing and go back to just not being anyone.
Nothing too much at stake, the headline should just be 'Wheat has fun rant moment, idiot fades into the night never to be heard from again'
