Kinda weird change of pace though, the GSL usually uses hard rock songs in their intros.
I think you're misunderstanding some things. These girls are just doing pre-recorded intros, they're not going to be there at the actual games at all (except maybe for a performance at the finals).
It is a bit weird for the viewers that the screen suddenly cuts to T-Ara and the players themselves doing the intros. Just my opinion though. Would have been great if they showed it before the games started.
Actually I'm kind of a little disappointed that this season we jump straight into games, without previewing the rest of the day. And the previews are all in Korean anyway, so we can't understand the guy.

LOL. Or make her say Grack, Gracket etc :DD That would be the coolest thing ever other then that; not so excited about this maybe it's because I hate Kpop, sure cute girls and all but terrible music

Actually I think that's great, because it means that I don't spend 5 hours a day watching 8 SC2 games.
They've really stepped up the pace this season, and it's very refreshing. I'm so used to 10 minute "technical delays" at every other e-sport event (even other games) in between each match that this is really cool for GSL to be thinking about the speed of the games.

What's the point in spending money on this. I mean who's it going to appeal to? Starcraft isn't a new thing in Korea, it's not like k-pop fans are going to watch it because of T-ara's name being involved with it. I could understand if it was a completely new game for the publicity but i'm pretty sure people are well aware of Starcraft and the fact it has a sequel considering how heavily they marketed it everywhere over there. So getting some k-pop groups to do the intro and finals ceremony, i can see that reason, to make a show out of things. But this i don't see the point at all, just seems like a waste of funds in a typically underfunded industry.
