There are 2 options imo. 1) Dress like a gamer dresses, jeans, t-shirt, hoody, etc 2) Dress like ordinary tv hosts, with a blazer. But not this weird hybrid mix. And my personal opinion: NASL is a front of a gaming community, making you role models for gaming kids. So why wouldn't you be a proud gamer nerd and dress like one instead of a lawyer. Ditch the blazer. I work at a casual gaming company and everyone here wears casual clothes, even the management wear jeans when customers are around, who also don't wear a suit. It's quite common in IT and creative jobs to just wear what you want. Look at the blizzard devs for example... I have friends and family working as accountants and sales persons and they always have to dress up properly. I'm so happy I don't live in that parallel universe where people are more often judged by the clothes they are wearing and the price of their car and watch, than by their skills or who they are. Please don't get a fashion advisor and let fashion dictate how you should look, stay close to who you are. Uh plenty of people wear t-shirts and blazers; I really wouldn't call it a "weird hybrid." The whole blazer + trendy t-shirt thing has been common for years now. Maybe you've heard of a company called Urban Outfitters? Just sayin'... And serious LOL @ wearing a blazer = dressing like a lawyer. Regardless, who gives a fuck what incontrol and gretorp are wearing anyway. Next people will be complaining about their haircuts. Shit is getting ridiculous.

Because image and impression are important when you want to promote something. Even though it isn't the main course here, but it doesn't hurt to be more appealing.

Sound still needs improvement but everyone and their mother has said this. I would like to see something in the backround, everything is so black on the show, there is plenty of SC art around, and you could even make a fan submit competition to design something that looked cool, credited them for it and gave the....something? Just an idea.

Seems most of technical problems are fixed (fps issues and audio). So I actually enjoyed NASL for the first time and will watch more (and I found the rainbow vs TLO casting very funny :D) Now you have a solid ground for a solid product.

They are jsut boreing and the only thing they are talking about, is what im already seeing on the freaking screen. Rly poor casting, not watching NASL anymore. Huh? Were you watching the IPL by mistake? Barring a few of the Khaldor casts NASL casters spend a great deal of time dissecting strategy and builds.

Also, the individual match vods sometimes start partway through a game, this should not be happening ![]() Edit: There's a permanent ad taking up screen space, I thought subscribers weren't supposed to see any ads?

I don't particularily care one way or the other for his casting, or appearance, or anything of that sort. However, as a human being with the failing of being judgemental, it is difficult for me to support a league with someone who is this unprofessional consistantly representing you on these forums, on his podcasts, etc, etc. There is nothing wrong with his attitude when it comes to being a player. Indeed, its interesting to have three-dimensional players, some being manner, others being less so. It adds a different level of interest to the game (I'm a big fan of FBH). However, having Incontrol represent you on these forums, whether he's doing it officially or not, is reflecting very poorly on your tournament. He reacts like an adolescant. He's definitely not impartial. He's only apologetic in a sarcastic, last effort kind of way. None of these are failings of his as a human or gamer, but as someone who represents something that is supposed to seem professional, and especially a tournament that he, himself is competing in, it just reflects very poorly on your organization. Now I know I'll get a lot of "but he started it all," and fair enough, I'm sure he did. But if he could be mature about this and realize that the best thing he can do for it is let it go, it would be beneficial to the tournament and community. I found myself cheering against incontrol last night, and realized it wasn't because I disliked him as a gamer, but because I disliked him as an organizational rep. Please allow me to enjoy both him as a gamer and the NASL as a tournament and just go your separate ways. PS. Regardless of the tone of this post, I accept that others disagree with me. I also accept that my opinion alone isn't sufficient to actually cause a change on this level. I'm merely offering my personal, honest opinion. Flame away.

As it is I can't watch the end of it due to needing to go to sleep. :/ most europeans have to work. so one hour earlier means less watchers in the start. and nasl normally ends ab 11pm anyway, so I dont know that would be too late for the normal nasl watchers

The person who was framing Gretorp in the camera last night needs to zoom in a bit (balancing the positive and negative space), and frame him so that his face in on the upper third line. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_thirds The center of the screen is the least dynamic, and isn't where someone's face should be. This just buggs me slightly because of my videography/photography background. Otherwise the casts were great!

In fact, I often wish Geoff was more like the Geoff of old, before people started getting on him about bias/professionalism/etc. To me, at least, it's more appealing. I've been laughing my ass off at he and Gretorp's casts these past few broadcasts -- seems like they're loosening up a lot more and forging an identity for NASL that's completely awesome, IMO. To each their own, of course. <3 Incontorp

I'd love it to be an hour later actually, but I can understand our Eastern European cousins wouldn't like that much.

I guess it's possible (or even likely) that the 1080p low-fps issue is computer-related for me, as others have commented on it being smooth for them. I'm getting a new comp next week so I'll get back to you on that. Still, having lower-quality vods available (720p at least) would probably be nice for those who don't have the option of buying a new computer ![]() I doubt it is your computer. I'm running an i5-760 w/ a GTX460 and I still have FPS related issues. Every type of video runs smoothly on my computer except NASL vods. It has actually gotten much, much worse lately. The sound has gotten better though. I'll have to see if it's jtv related before I start yelling at the NASL. I haven't watched and jtv vods other than the NASL, yet. You guys also need different blazers. I wouldn't really call what you guys wear a blazer to be honest. It just doesn't look like it would go right with jeans. There are many different blazers out there. You guys just have to find the one that goes well with t-shirts. The last thing I'm going to say is there needs to be less matches. Please change the way the tournament runs for next season. With all the tournaments that have been sucking me in lately, I've had less and less time to watch SC2. 3 months to crown one person is just too much. At first, I was all "shit yeah!" but now I'm all like, "can we get to the RO32 already?
