I understand you want a way to break up the games etc but jesus learn how to manage your audio. Loud ass music out of nowhere is NOT GOOD, especially when 1/2 the time the casters are talking and you can't hear them.
Other than that you're doing great now. I like basically everything else. ROFL I love how you described the music, I find it to be a good feature, but yeah a BIT softer.

I love watching nasal. I'd buy a pass if I could watch the games on my iPad
|
Just something that has been happening recently. After a commercial or some cuts out of games my sound disappears and i need to mute and then unmute to regain the sound.
|
Yeah please fix the music, can hardly have the NASL in the background when playing a game because it'll sound way to much when the music goes on and at night that shit is bad due to whiny neighbors. Frustrating having to change the sound in between every game.

Please prepare a little before each match... ie KNOW WHAT THE OPPONENTS RECORDS ARE... have it written on a piece of paper. Instead of "I dunno... wait do we know... are they 2/2 or 3/2 or 4/1 or 3/2??? durrrr.:
And also wouldn't hurt to have a list of who is playing who next... so when you do interviews you are prepared and can ask them about the upcoming matches without either side knowing nothing about who they are actually playing.

Get their casters to be more professional, or replace their casters with better ones. While Incontrol and Gretorp can hold their own, they are certainly not the caliber of casters NASL should have for how they market the tournament. A tournament such as NASL should have the production quality and caster quality it deserves.

+1 for mixing up casters. IdrA, Gretorp and JP interchanged would be fucking sweet as. JP very entertaining with his shout casting, and IdrA's analytical style are so awesome. Gretorp + IdrA is a little dull though, since both are pretty analytical.

I think this has been mentioned a few times before, but the lack of ability to lower the quaility of the VODs really hurts me. I live in Australia, so NASL airs from about 10:30am-2pm, the time when the majority of my university classes are, so I spent $25 to get VOD access so i can watch them .. on demand.
Because the vods are in 1080p, and only 1080p, i can't afford to stream 4 hours of that high quaility video a day, and I actually can't even watch it without having to buffer every 10 seconds, which makes it unwatchable, and I find myself waiting for the EU restream (at 2:30am) to watch the matches, most of the time I fall asleep.
My point: PLEASE NASL/JTV, allow us to view the vods in a lower quality! I've pretty much wasted $25 this season, which I don't mind, supporting eSports and all, but next season, if this isn't fixed, I probally won't buy a pass again

I agree with Pkol and others who have stated this. The next big issue with NASL are the VODs... I'd love to see them in lower qualities because of extremely limited bandwidth limits per month (terrible... but true). As much as I love the sharp 1080p.... I'm going over my limits since watching NASL which I think is coming from when I catch up on the VODS. The league is heating up though.... great games, great casting, production value way up. Most things in the future will be small tweaks... I just think the VODs need some love.
Thanks NASL.

I think that things need to be publicized a bit more clearly - i mean with regard to walkovers or w/e. Today + Show Spoiler +Tyler got a free win for what i assume is a default? and have no idea why - or even if this is correct. i remember with the drop in TSL by boxer TL had a very professional report ready and what not (including advice from 3 pro players which was used to make the decision)
Since its pre recorded, surely even just a 1 paragraph announcment could be made over night, and it be edited into an LR thread, or what not.
Maybe if i looked really hard i could find something, but i checked Nasl.tv and the LR thread, i think thats enough.
Just my thoughts anyway, im sure people will disagree

Yeah I agree about being clear about canceled matches or "walkovers". They should update the schedule with a note or something, I thought I missed the Tyler match tonight until I read somewhere on reddit that it was canceled. Telling people at the last minute who might not be paying attention is not the best way.
Also the casting really needs some work, it really detracts from the experience. I'm sure a bunch of people in the thread have gone over the gory details of the casting issues so I'll spare that for now.

Day9, Incontrol, Artosis, Idra, Tasteless, Gretorp, Chill, random hot chick. Any combination of these is awesome, thanks. No moletrap and doa plz. Almost every caster aside from moletrap needs to learn how to do their homework before the match to know what record, matchups, builds, and maps the players have/like.
Anytime they have a progamer cast I'm really interested in what they have to say, I'm also dying for a day9 and tasteless combo, and some more vulgar humor like what I know tastosis is doing off camera, and if you could get any hot chick just for funzies would be great too maybe ask Anna to do it with incontrol.
Please fix how the stream turns the sound off at a commercial.

I live in the US and I can't even watch the vods without the video buffering every 10 seconds (I live in a more rural area, best speed I can get). The entire point of me spending my $25 dollars was for the vods and they're completely unwatchable.

sorry if this is off topic, but am i the only one that gets fps lag when watching the stream on 1080p? This doesn't always happen either, sometimes if i change it to lower and back to 1080 or pause and unpause it goes away, and then sometimes comes back. I started popping out the player and turning off chat, I read somewhere that helps, but still get it.

Reduce Gretorp's dose of weed before each cast.
|
before the broadcast starts, they show the player and map sheets far to quickly. i cant read half of it before the next one comes along

omfg, I was thinking that as well! XD

as somebody who has to watch the EU stream its REALLY anoying that: 1) I have to go to the full shedule and scroll all the way down to find out whitch players will play today, cause it doesnt show todays games, after they got streamed on US, on the mainpage/shedule anymore! 2) I get spoilered everytime when i go to the homepage (to find things out like whos gonna play...) cause you can see the top ratings on the mainpage (so if i see for example that Idra is 4-1 and know that he was 4-0 before...)
it would really help if youd wait with those things until the EU stream is also over.
besides that youre doing a great job and i really enjoy watchin the nasl, keep it up!!!
