The story of how he met his wife was interesting, and he seems to be a very nice and mild mannered dude. I was a bit curious what teams Grubby had been on, and from some googling, found that Grubby joined team EG in April of 2009. That means the 31st of March (yesterday) would mark the end of a two year period since he signed with EG. Assuming they negotiated yearly contracts, the end of last month would also mark the time the expiration of the most recent contract. Grubby was one of the very top WC3 pros and must have had an impressive salary playing for EG's Warcraft team. After his switch to SC2, his negotiating power undoubtedly diminished, and it's not hard to believe that he and EG would have trouble coming up with a new contract. Hopefully Grubby will do well at MLG and in the NASL and find a new team. I'll be cheering for him! Makes sense. LIke someone earlier also said EG probably dont want to continue paying Grubby the same salary he got for playing WC3 since he switched over to SC2 and is still considered unproven at top level.

As for all the people saying that he'll get picked up by Liquid, I find it very unlikely. I remember in and interview not to long ago in the Liquid Weekly they aren't looking to pick anyone new up. They've got a pretty damn good line up right now if you ask me.

It would be a great move for TL , Grubby and E-sports in the west in general as long as TL can support his contract needs.
