I can understand TLO fine. Although I prefer TLOs stereoypical accent to kellys. TLO, however, might be my favorite caster period. I thought he was very funny, insightful, and there is no doubt that he knows his shit. Kellys knowledge of the game is actually pretty poor, which is why I prefer she is replaced. | ||

I enjoy commentating which makes you go "O hey I didnt notice that, good point" and you learn something. That has not the case with Kelly atleast over the course of the tournament. It improved for sure, and its obvious it would but it wasnt enjoyable for me atleast. | ||

Honestly, I'm not sad to see Kelly go, her voice really was not suited for casting. Best of luck in all your future endeavours though, kelly | ||

A lot of the times I listen to the GSL while doing some last minute school work instead of watching, and I just stopped listening or watching on the Code A days because my ears couldn't take it. I am truly entertained when I listen to Artosis or Tasteless. When Kelly casts, I just can't understand her, and she takes away from the cast rather than adding something to it. | ||

Did you ever think maybe you're opinion on TLO's accent is irrelevant?? hahaha?? IMO kelly is much harder to understand but i can careless. There will always be haters no matter what you do and the fact that she just doesn't say anything right adds fuel to the fire. In TLO's case its a lot more tolerable because he says smart things on whats actually happening not this ohh take 3 off gas into ling all in w/o banelings.... i stopped listening to her when i heard that. | ||

I just hope that Kelly doesn't take this all to heart because it's not like she's a bad person or anything, she may perhaps, simply not be the right person for the role. Artosis and Tasteless have set the bar too high, so i think we'll see alot of caster fall by the way side if they are indeed trialling alot of them. I think that the comparison between TLO and Kelly is ridiculous too. TLO is a pro player. It's only logical that he would know what he's talking about, and in all honesty he's there for his game knowledge so he fills the different role in the pairing. Day9 ( in the partnership with TLO) is more the caster ( not the analyser) however he, like his brother both have excellent game understanding too so they are able to at very least mask anything they don't know with a joke, or simply agree with the analyse, any point Day9 or Tasteless make we are more likely to believe because we simply accept they know more than us. Kelly doesn't give off the same vibe, you almost feel like she's out of her league sitting next to those guys. Here's hoping that no matter what happens, she's happy. I take my hat off to her for AT LEAST TRYING. | ||

Kelly gets hyped in the action talks to fast and no one understands but its just a big put off to the listener. TLO can give a very different viewpoint on the game since he has a very different play style and his voice is baller as fuck. | ||

How is one persons opinion proving your point. Each person has their own opinion, personally her accent is why I don't like her. If someone has a strong accent that makes listening DIFFICULT I naturally don't like them as a caster. How often do you hear a radio host with a thick accent? Rarely. Yes, you can understand her after some thought, that thought shouldn't be required. If someone doesn't like her for her accent respect their opinion and don't tell them they should be ashamed because they prefer clear English. | ||

I have no way of communicating to her so if anyone here knows her personally, please pass her the message below if she is serious about improving. Go for some phonetics class to improve her pronunciation and if possible, speech and drama class to brush up on her intonation. Watch some casters do their stuff and learn not to call out play by play. Instead, add value by giving your opinion. Do a little research into the people you are casting if possible and add interesting tid-bits in your cast (Artosis and Tasteless can do this because they have been in Korea for a while and know the old players). Finally, start your own youtube channel and practice casting and uploading your videos. Ask for opinions and how you can improve. I am sure some of the other casters are willing to give you advice if you ask. | ||

If she wants to cast GOM then let it be for whatever language her accent suits her for, but that language is NOT English *to clarify, if she was a guy I'm 100% sure all of you would be angry about her accent as well | ||
