Hello,
Every time I play, I feel like every time I move my mouse cursor off the screen, there's a slight delay on when my screen actually scrolls. It's really slight, but I definitely notice it. It's no where as near as smooth as mouse scrolling on broodwar. It's hard to play as fast as I possibly can because of it, it's really annoying. (note: i'm not talking about mouse sensitivity).
I have a good computer, I can get 320+ frames per second on low settings, but I have it capped at 120 fps. So it's not because my computer is lagging. I play with Windowed Mode (Fullscreen). This scroll delay also happens in the non-window "Full Screen" mode. I toyed around with most settings, such as reduce mouse delay, and scroll speed. No matter what I do, I always feel a slight delay when scrolling across the screen.
Is there anything obvious I can do to fix this? or does everyone have this problem? I have ATI 5770 with latest CCC drivers.

I'm just going to say that it doesn't happen to me. But It did when I tried setting on ultra. But since your said it's definitely not your gfx, i dont know.

Well, I don't think there's an actual delay, it just feels really weird to me.

check your settings, remove mouse delay, also your settings may be too high :p

When myn does that its because graphics are to high

Ok so I found out my problem.
Windowed (Full Screen) has a lot of performance bugs with cursor and scrolling. When I switched to the normal Full Screen mode, my delays and mouse performance improved. It's fine now.

i have a similar issue, but it's a bit different.. when i press "A" on the keyboard to realize an attack move and right click, there's like 1 or 2 seconds delay, not for the unit to move, but for the attack move to be issued on the unit...
i mean, the mouse stays with the attack move icon, and doesn't issue the order no matter how many times i click..
i tried different config and graphic detailing with no sucess, any help?

my bad, its not mouse related, i tried to use the shortcuts on gui with the mouse cursor and they respond immediatly, only when using keyboard hotkeys it delays, any hint? i'm on laptop asus k52ju

That's because you gotta left click instead...

I think typing "right click" might have been a typo. If you read, he states it's only a problem with the keyboard actually, so if he is right-clicking, it's working anyway. :S I can only think of the very obvious test here... Have you noticed any other issues with the 'A' key when typing/playing another game etc.? Any delays or a different feel when pressing it, as if something could be stuck under the key, causing problems? It might just be a buggy laptop key.
Obviously, you should make sure drivers (keyboard drivers in this case) are updated, but contrary to the stuff you tend to hear from most people, I find 99% of the time, drivers aren't the issue for me at least, even when they are outdated. =Þ It's definitely worth making sure of though, especially in this case seeing as it sounds to me like it could be related to polling (uhh...or maybe that term is only for the mouse? I mean how often the computer recognises the input from the keyboard, through USB etc.)
This should have been made into a separate topic though, although I understand you thought you had a similar problem, but this should also be moved to the Tech Support forum, as it's in SC2 General right now.
I suppose when you tried different graphic settings, you tried checking to see if this helps, yes?:

no, there are no other problems with keyboard other than in game, patrol does the same issue, keyboard is updated, tried diferent mouses both with drivers updated, and yes tried to change graphic settings in game, and in ati tray tools (directly on the gpu) nothing did the slightest change, game was on real full screen all the time. tried window and its the same crap..
anyways doesn't matter now, i'v just finished the game on hard mode, great game, too bad that problem was a little shitty but doesn't matter now, will surely buy the game when some fixes are released (been playing warez)
thank you all
